Data Management Analyst
Pay rate: 17.91/hr
Location: One Nationwide Plaza, Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area
Duration: 3 mos of contract, with potential to convert or extend
Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm
Target Start Date: ASAP upon completion of new hire onboarding
About the Role
This role supports business and sales needs through complex analysis and productivity management data within Salesforce. The position is responsible for acquiring and organizing marketer information and demographics, including customer profiles, new sales, marketing opportunities, and product opportunities. With moderate assistance, this role manages data to enhance the sales process and support decision-making across the organization.
Job Summary
- Performs complex analysis and productivity management data to support business/sales needs within Salesforce.
- Acquires and organizes marketer information and demographics (i.e. customer profiles, new sales, marketing and product opportunities, etc.).
- With moderate assistance, manages data to enhance the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Salesforce Support
- Partner with associates that might be located in the home office or in the field in determining data and information needs.
- With moderate assistance, develop and maintain IMO specific data within Salesforce.
- Analyze and/or troubleshoot information as requested or needed.
- With moderate assistance, use various data access tools to pull information to create solutions (Salesforce, Tableau).
Research, Reporting & Documentation
- Support the research, analysis, and presentation of information by producing reports.
- Compile and summarize information.
- Produce supporting documentation and exhibits.
- Verify information received from external sources.
- With moderate assistance, perform all aspects of project and/or troubleshooting, including:
- Understanding needs
- Gathering requirements
- Design
- Creation
- Testing
- Documentation
Data Management & Repository Maintenance
- Retrieve data from internal and external sources and data files in order to keep internal repositories current and usable.
- Determine appropriate information to be shared with customers.
- Evaluate deliverables for accuracy, quality, and relevance.
- Maintain the integrity of information in internal repositories (i.e. Access databases, Excel spreadsheets, etc.).
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Undergraduate studies in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Typically one or more years of experience in data/process/database research, analysis support, and problem solving.
- Experience with Salesforce and other query-based applications and/or analytical software.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of PC-based spreadsheet and business intelligence applications.
- Working knowledge of research and reporting preferred.
- Working knowledge of problem-solving skills preferred.
- General knowledge of a wide variety of reporting, Citizen Development, and Telephony tools, concepts, and techniques.
- General knowledge of business processes.
- General knowledge of Salesforce.
- Basic understanding of new technologies and developments in the end-user technology industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Information documentation and report formulation skills.
- Ability to understand business information needs and analyze data requests.
- Ability to effectively operate a personal computer and develop ad hoc queries.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Information repositories remain current, organized, and reliable.
- Reports, analysis, and deliverables are accurate, relevant, and timely.
- Business partners receive meaningful insights that support decision-making.
- Data requests, troubleshooting efforts, and project deliverables are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Strong collaboration is maintained with home office and field associates to support ongoing business needs.
