Data Architect / Data Team Manager

Our client is an established, but rapidly growing and digitally transforming SaaS company, that delivers AI-forward products and applications to higher-education institutions globally.

They are seeking a hands-on Data Team Manager to lead the data architecture required to support their transition into a more AI-forward product environment, while leading a small team of 2-3 data engineers (70% hands-on & 30% management).

Job Title: Data Team Manager

Location: Remote -EST or CST - must be based in US and eligible to work for any US employer. No sponsorship can be provided at this time.

Required Technology And Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering and/or data architecture (2+ years with relevant AI experience)
• Experience enabling AI/ML or GenAI systems through data architecture and/or Deploying AI-related data components into production
• Familiar with data compliance frameworks (SOC2, FIPA, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Python, Snowflake, Kafka, AWS ecosystem
• Experience in B2C/B2B2C product environment
• Experience leading a team of data engineers while being hands-on with data architecture
• CS background with foundation in hands-on data engineering before growing into architecture/lead
  
  

Salary Range: $180,000-$200,000 base salary + 20% Bonus (Based on experience)
