Duties Description
The Data Analyst will formulate analytical methods required for regulatory program functions, quality control/quality assurance, and reporting. They will analyze program data for both routine operations and special projects, as well as maintain the current data analysis and visualization infrastructure. Additionally, the Data Analyst will support the development of new tools and facilitate their integration into the existing infrastructure.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Non-competitive: four years of experience* in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools and satisfactory completion of a two-year traineeship; OR six years of experience* in data visualization, and statistical models and data mining tools.
Substitution: An associate’s degree may substitute for two years of general experience; or a bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of general experience. A master’s degree in data or computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, may substitute for one year of general experience; or a Ph.D. in these fields may substitute for two years of general experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience coding in 'R' and experience using Tableau. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner; manage multiple activities and meet deadlines; detail oriented with strong organizational skills; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
