$185,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr

Korn Ferry has been exclusively retained to lead the search for a Corporate Controller on behalf of a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed, multi-site platform operating 100+ locations across the U.S.


This organization has built a strong reputation within a recession-resilient services sector, supported by a highly loyal customer base and a proven growth model. Backed by an active investment partner, the business has expanded significantly through both organic growth and acquisitions, with plans to continue scaling its footprint in the coming years.


The Corporate Controller will serve as the senior accounting leader, owning all core accounting operations and financial reporting. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, strengthening controls, and building scalable processes to support continued expansion.


This is not a back-office role. The Controller will partner closely with executive leadership and field operations to drive financial discipline, improve performance, and support integration across a growing platform.


This opportunity is well-suited for a hands-on finance leader who enjoys operating close to the business, strengthening processes, and enhancing team capabilities to support continued growth.


Key Areas of Impact:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and GAAP-compliant reporting
  • Oversee external audit coordination and maintain a strong internal controls framework
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and sales to improve gross margin, inventory management, and pricing
  • Enhance reporting processes, policies, and systems to support continued scale
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting operations
  • Invest in talent development to ensure the team scales effectively with the business


Qualifications:

  • CPA required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities, 2+ years at a Controller level or equivalent
  • Background in distribution, manufacturing, retail or multi-entity operating environments preferred
  • Strong technical GAAP foundation and internal controls expertise
  • Experience in multi-site, multi-entity, or services-based environments (healthcare or similar preferred)
