Copywriter


Location: Remote

Contract length: 6 months to start

Schedule: Fulltime with likely move to part time dependent on workload

Pay: $80/hr to $90/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)


Job Overview:

The Copywriter will support the creation and development of compelling, on-brand advertising copy across Invesco’s brand and product marketing initiatives. This role is focused on translating strategic briefs into clear, engaging, and differentiated creative that drives awareness, consideration, and engagement across key audiences. The Copywriter will partner closely with Brand, Segment Marketing, and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life across digital (display, paid social, native), print, and select owned and event-driven channels in North America and EMEA. This role plays an important part in ensuring messaging aligns with Invesco’s brand platform and is optimized for performance across channels. Working from ideation through execution, the Copywriter will help deliver breakthrough creative that simplifies complex financial concepts and engages clients and prospects throughout the customer journey.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear, compelling advertising copy across multiple formats, including digital display, paid social, print, and campaign extensions
  • Translate strategic briefs, campaign objectives, and product positioning into differentiated creative concepts and messaging
  • Partner with designers and marketers to ideate and execute integrated campaign creative
  • Adapt messaging across formats and channels, ensuring consistency while optimizing for platform-specific best practices
  • Contribute to concept development, including headlines, scripts, and campaign narratives aligned to the Invesco brand platform
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while maintaining creative integrity and clarity of messaging
  • Ensure all copy meets regulatory and compliance standards in partnership with Brand Activation team, Legal and Compliance teams
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive activity, and best practices in financial services advertising
  • Assist with additional brand and marketing writing needs as required (e.g., organic social, event activations, thought leadership support)


Work Experience/Knowledge Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in advertising copywriting, preferably within an agency or in-house creative team
  • Experience writing across digital, social, and print channels required
  • Financial services or highly regulated industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging messaging
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and campaign systems
