Position Summary:

Words matter. Which is exactly why we are looking for a talented, collaborative, and curious copywriter. Someone who digs in on various brands, topics or objectives and is genuinely interested in understanding who they are writing for‚ knowing their mindset, what motivates them, what they care about. A gifted storyteller who uses nuance, creativity, and insights to connect with various audiences. And who writes in a way that best serves how the audience consumes it. Because the right words in the right place matter.

As a copywriter at Bold Orange, you will be responsible for contributing ideas and writing compelling copy across varying channels and industries. You will work closely with account, project management and other creatives from kickoff to execution to create strong, cohesive work.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ideating and writing for a variety of channels/tactics including website, email, blogs, video, social, brand stories, direct mail
• Contribute boldly and broadly to solve the problem at-hand And Then Some in new and innovative ways
• Personalize copy to ensure it is relevant to the audience based on their previous actions and mindset
• Understand and adhere to digital best practices and trends
  
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Online portfolio link required within application materials
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of copywriting experience for B2C and B2B clients
• Significant digital copywriting experience
• Cross-channel expertise, including websites, email, print and social
• Ability to take in various inputs and simplify the story
• Provide solid rationale for copy and creative ideas/choices
• Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Appetite for collaboration in all phases of work, from ideation to feedback
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Desire to work in a fun, fast-paced environment

Compensation:

We benchmark salaries across industry standards and local markets to ensure we offer competitive, fair compensation. Final offers reflect a candidates skills, experience, and location at the time of hire. This position is anticipated to fall between $60k - 84k annually in the Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul market.
