The ideal candidate is equal parts meticulous and adaptable — someone who can catch the smallest detail while navigating high-volume creative workflows and ever-changing campaign priorities.
- Proofread and edit copy across digital, social, print, AV, presentations, and promotional materials
- Ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, tone, and brand consistency
- Maintain adherence to AP style, client style guides, and legal/disclaimer standards
- Review campaign assets for continuity, formatting consistency, and factual accuracy
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, producers, and account teams throughout the creative process
- Fact-check titles, talent names, release dates, platform references, and entertainment-specific terminology
- Ensure final creative assets are client-ready and error-free before delivery
- Help refine internal editorial processes and quality-control workflows
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- 3+ years of copy editing or proofreading experience, preferably within an advertising agency, entertainment studio, or media company
- Exceptional command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and editorial standards
- Strong understanding of AP style; familiarity with entertainment marketing language preferred
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience editing social media, campaign copy, presentations, trailers, key art copy, and digital content
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaborative review tools
- Ability to prioritize shifting workloads and maintain attention to detail under pressure
- Experience in entertainment, streaming, gaming, or pop culture marketing
- Familiarity with legal copy review and network/studio approval processes
- Experience working with creative and production teams
- Understanding of multi-platform campaign execution
