PSC Contracts Manager

Onsite – Alameda, CA

Compensation: $122K - $160K


A leading, mission‑driven biotech organization is seeking a PSC Contracts Manager to support its growing Pharmaceutical Operations & Supply Chain function. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong contracts background who thrive in highly cross‑functional, fast‑moving, and regulated environments.


You’ll work closely with supply chain, procurement operations, clinical, R&D, finance, and external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate execution of critical agreements that support ongoing development and commercialization activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and finalize SOWs, Change Orders, and supporting documentation for low‑risk PSC contracts using a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
  • Route, track, and manage contract progress from submission through final execution.
  • Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure contract terms, timelines, and deliverables are met.
  • Create purchase requisitions to initiate work under executed agreements.
  • Support invoice issue resolution, collaborating with Procurement Ops and Accounts Payable.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the PSC team.
  • Assist with budget forecasting, accruals, and audit readiness as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, financial controls, and GxP readiness requirements.
  • Support additional sourcing and procurement‑related projects.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree + 7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
  • 3–5+ years in the life sciences industry, preferably with exposure to:
  • Drafting and negotiating supply‑chain‑related agreements (MSAs, SOWs, COs).
  • Working with CMOs, CROs, labs, or other outsourced partners.
  • Strong understanding of pharma supply chain and contracting processes.
  • Experience with CLM systems (Agiloft preferred).
  • Familiarity with Ariba, SAP, or similar procurement systems.
  • Ability to manage high‑volume workloads with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across R&D, Clinical, CMC, Commercial, and Finance.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
