Construction Estimator

An Award Winning General Contractor specializes in serving the healthcare, commercial, and industrial sectors across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions is seeking a detailed-oriented Estimator for their Pompano Beach office.

What you will do:

• Cost Estimation: Estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment for projects based on contract bids, quotes, schematic drawings, and specifications.
• Project Coordination: Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts. Manage and coordinate projects, including preparing progress schedules.
• Supplier Management: Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Obtain quotes and negotiate favorable prices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Estimator with a General Contractor - Project size ranging $1M+
• Skills: Excellent quantitative skills, ability to negotiate, and strong communication skills.
• Certifications: Qualifications in project management is a plus.
