Position: Call Center Representative I
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Location: Fully Remote
Openings: 1
Shift: Monday- Friday- 8am CST- 7pm CST (shift varies).
Start Date: April 3
Top Skills & Experience
Core Must‑Haves:
- 1–2+ years of customer service experience (call center, retail, hospitality, or similar)
- Proven self‑starter with a go‑getter mentality; eager to learn and grow
- Strong verbal communication — friendly, patient, and empathetic over the phone
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Quick learner; able to navigate multiple systems and new tools
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
Nice to Have:
- Prior banking or financial services experience (not required)
- Exposure to call center environments
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound client inquiries within CIBC’s Personal & Digital Banking group
- Assist customers with questions around accounts, card products, online banking, transactions, and basic troubleshooting
- Identify client needs, provide accurate information, and offer guidance on available products and services
- Leverage multiple systems and screens to locate information and resolve issues efficiently
- Support customers as they navigate digital banking tools and online features
- Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate banking teams when needed
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and a customer‑centric approach on every call
