Position: Call Center Representative I

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Location: Fully Remote

Openings: 1

Shift: Monday- Friday- 8am CST- 7pm CST (shift varies).

Start Date: April 3

Top Skills & Experience

Core Must‑Haves:

  • 1–2+ years of customer service experience (call center, retail, hospitality, or similar)
  • Proven self‑starter with a go‑getter mentality; eager to learn and grow
  • Strong verbal communication — friendly, patient, and empathetic over the phone
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Quick learner; able to navigate multiple systems and new tools
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance

Nice to Have:

  • Prior banking or financial services experience (not required)
  • Exposure to call center environments

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inbound client inquiries within CIBC’s Personal & Digital Banking group
  • Assist customers with questions around accounts, card products, online banking, transactions, and basic troubleshooting
  • Identify client needs, provide accurate information, and offer guidance on available products and services
  • Leverage multiple systems and screens to locate information and resolve issues efficiently
  • Support customers as they navigate digital banking tools and online features
  • Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate banking teams when needed
  • Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and a customer‑centric approach on every call
