My client is a national manufacturer who is looking for an experienced Power BI Analyst to join their digital team. They need someone who can be responsible for delivering high-quality Power BI reporting solutions while enabling the business to effectively create and manage their own self-service analytics.
Specifically the role will require:
Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to support operational, tactical, and strategic business decisions.
Developing and maintaining semantic models, measures, and calculations that support consistent enterprise reporting.
Supporting and enabling business users to build their own Power BI reports and dashboards through coaching, guidance, and best-practice recommendations.
Acting as a subject matter expert for Power BI usage, report troubleshooting, performance optimization, and design.
Ensuring Power BI solutions align with enterprise data governance, security, and access control requirements.
Partnering with data engineers, data platform owners, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent and trusted use of enterprise data assets.
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related technical or analytical field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience working with enterprise data platforms, data integration, or analytics environments, with demonstrated ownership of platform reliability and operations.
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards used for operational and executive decision-making.
Proven experience supporting and enabling business users in a self-service BI model, including coaching, training, and application of best practices.
Strong experience with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query to support performant and reusable analytical solutions.
Experience defining, documenting, and enforcing BI or reporting standards, including report design, data modeling conventions, and deployment practices.
Experience working with enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or analytical data models that support multiple business domains.
