Position OverviewSummit Property Management/Sentinel Peak Capital Partners is seeking a high-performing Director of Business Development to lead the expansion of our third-party multifamily management platform.

This role is focused on sourcing, pursuing, and closing new management opportunities with developers, ownership groups, and institutional investors. The ideal candidate brings strong industry relationships, understands multifamily operations, and can convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
  • Drive new business generation for Summit Property Management’s third-party multifamily platform
  • Identify and secure opportunities with multifamily developers, private equity and institutional investment groups, family offices, high-net-worth owners, brokers, and deal intermediaries
  • Build and actively manage a qualified deal pipeline
  • Lead the full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, relationship development, proposal creation, and closing
  • Partner with operations and leadership to structure competitive and executable proposals
  • Represent Sentinel Peak/Summit at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, development activity, and competitive landscape
  • Provide consistent reporting on pipeline activity, deal status, and revenue projections
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of business development experience within multifamily real estate
  • Experience working with third-party property management companies, investment groups, and multifamily developers
  • Proven track record of closing new business
  • Established network within the multifamily industry
  • Strong understanding of multifamily operations, asset management, and development lifecycle
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently with accountability
