Classification: Contract

Contract Length: 12-months

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business systems and user needs for applications/products supported by the eSSC team.
  • Recommend system and business process modifications to support business strategies through purchased or in-house developed software.
  • Write detailed descriptions of business goals, user needs, technology solution functions, and steps required to develop or modify those solutions.
  • Ensure thorough knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation practices, as well as software development methodologies.
  • Communicate requirements to software developers and ensure the designed solution meets business and user needs.
  • Resolve conflicting requirements with business users.
  • Work with project managers and scrum masters to develop timelines and manage project risks.
  • Assist in the development of quality assurance test plans.
  • Help develop end-user documentation.
  • Gather and document use cases and feature requirements.
  • Collaborate with project team of developers/QA analysts on features, enhancements, and fixes.
  • Serve as 2nd tier escalation point for issues related to system functionality.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs
  • Gather and document detailed requirements, define scope and objectives, and ensure alignment with overall business strategies
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration between business stakeholders and IT teams
  • Plan and execute project tasks with minimal supervision, leveraging experience and sound judgment
  • Oversee and guide the work of team members as needed
  • Exercise a high degree of creativity, problem-solving, and independent decision-making
  • Typically report to a manager or department head

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Mid- to Senior- level Business Analyst with both technical and functional expertise
  • Proven experience leading complex end-to-end project lifecycles (from concept and requirements gathering through build oversight, go-live execution, and post-implementation stabilization)
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitations, documentation, and validation
  • Comfortable managing scope, timelines, and delivery risks
  • Experience working on large enterprise-wide initiatives spanning multiple lines of business
  • Basic knowledge of .NET, UiPath, SQL, and relational databases
  • Experience operating within Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Healthcare or hospital IT experience strongly preferred
