About The Role
The Associate Engineer is primarily responsible for deploying the tools necessary to manage and monitor new clients going through a service transition. This position involves working closely with senior engineers, project managers, and our clients to insure successful deployment, and documentation of our clients environment prior to the service going live. The engineer will be extremely proficient with all tools our business uses to deliver the service. Job responsibilities include:
Work closely with internal and external technology support teams to ensure proper instrumentation of customer’s networks, systems, applications, services, and business processes
Coordinate between internal teams and customer teams to ensure effective delivery of services with the aid of various tools
Research, design, test and deploy solutions, which are cost-effective, flexible, highly available and agile.
Manages and maintains the monitoring framework by:
Completing application availability and performance monitoring
Troubleshooting issues and implementing resolution of monitoring systems.
Management of false positives and negatives
Configuration, release and change management
Perform installations according to design specifications; conduct pre-site preparations; and document transfer (internally & externally).
Document procedures and develop knowledgebase articles.
Aid internal teams in new customer service transitions
All other duties as assigned

Core Responsibilities
POC / First Article Build Execution
Execute end-to-end First Article builds using Windows imaging technologies including DISM, WIM, and FFU
Configure and validate OS settings, security policies, driver integration, and network configurations
Test client MDM environments (Intune, Autopilot, Chrome Enterprise, Samsung KNOX) — troubleshooting deployment and enrollment issues in client-owned environments
Perform functional testing: boot validation, network connectivity, user login, and client acceptance preparation
Serve as a technical escalation point for labs, sales teams, and clients when troubleshooting complex build or configuration issues
Documentation & Process Consistency
Develop ISO-compliant technical work instructions precise enough for any qualified technician to replicate the build
Maintain QA checklists, build logs, as-built documentation, and change tracking records
Capture time stamp for cost modeling data to support accurate project scoping and billing
Client & Team Collaboration
Partner with sales and pre-sales teams during new client onboarding and service transitions
Design and produce asset tags from client-provided data using Teklynx CodeSoft and CorelDraw
Process POC/First Article orders end-to-end including SAP functions (CNF, ZINT, ME2N) and Build Code Request management via Power Apps
Train lab personnel on new build and imaging procedures
Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and communicating clearly with clients and internal teams
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as project timelines require
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a technically strong, independently driven technician who takes pride in solving hard problems and documenting the solution so it never has to be solved again. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with deployment technologies, can troubleshoot complex issues without hand-holding, and communicates with clarity — both in writing and in person. This role is well-suited for someone ready to operate at a high level today, with the ambition to grow into a senior engineering role over time.
Core Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on IT experience or production lab experience with a focus on deployment technologies, including DISM, Ghost, MDT, SCCM, ABM, ZTE, Arbor XR, Intune, JAMF, Linux
Understanding of Windows networking: VLANs, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Remote Management (WinRM), Networking equipment (Cisco, HPE), VMWare
Ability to develop clear, precise technical work instructions and SOPs that enable consistent, repeatable execution
Proven ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and develop lasting solutions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, able to work effectively with clients, sales, and technical teams
Ability to manage multiple concurrent builds and priorities in a fast-paced lab environment
Comfortable working onsite full-time in a structured production lab environment
Build and assemble computer hardware systems, integrating components and conducting functional validation
