Responsibilities:
The Technology Investment Banking Group at Cantor Fitzgerald is seeking highly motivated, successful candidates with investment banking experience for the Associate position in New York. The Technology Investment Banking Group offers Associates an exceptional opportunity to work on small deal teams with direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Associates will participate in the full transaction execution process, including outlining and preparing pitch materials, creating and reviewing financial models and analyses, and preparing marketing materials. Associates are an integral part of the deal team and are expected to receive exposure across various Technology verticals.
Coordinate various deal processes, including M&A advisory and private and public capital raises
Prepare and review confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and pitches for clients
Prepare and review detailed financial and valuation analyses and operating models
Conduct industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
Interact with senior bankers, corporate clients, and investors
Train and mentor Analysts within the team
Requirements & Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree
3-5 years of prior experience in investment banking
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Well-developed presentation skills with elevated attention to detail
Strong analytical orientation, with experience performing financial modeling and valuation analyses for private and public companies
Team player mentality with strong work ethic
Experience in the technology vertical is not required but strongly preferred
SIE, Series 63 & Series 79 licensing required
Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 per year. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
