The Senior Strategic Delivery Manager / Architectural Manager leads IA’s fully remote Strategic Delivery Studio, an internal team of architectural professionals providing comprehensive design development and documentation support for IA Studios worldwide. This is a high-volume, fast-paced studio responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects across varying scales and project category types.
The Senior Strategic Delivery Manager serves as the central point of contact for all studio requests, overseeing the delivery team operations, staffing, and project execution to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency. This role is pivotal in aligning resources, maintaining IA’s design standards, enabling IA’s other studios to focus on design excellence and client relationships.
The Strategic Delivery Studio produces comprehensive documentation sets for all several project phases, from schematic design to detailed construction documents. This insourced solution delivers the speed and quality alignment without the complexity of managing external vendors.
Job Responsibilities
Internal Engagement & Communication
Acts as the single point of contact for all Strategic Delivery requests across IA studios to assess project needs and resource assignments.
Interfaces directly with executive-level client stakeholders to shape design strategy and business impact.
Presents ideas and solutions confidently and persuasively to IA internal leaders and internal teams.
Maintains strong, ongoing relationships with key clients and identifies opportunities for deeper engagement.
Project Oversight & Budgeting
Manages and oversees numerous projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
Partners with Project Managers to monitor financial performance and identify areas requiring additional services or resources.
Implements and maintains efficient workflows to support speed and quality in a high-volume environment.
Identifies risks or opportunities for improvement and proactively recommend solutions.
Advises on project work plans and resourcing strategies in alignment with design goals.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Leads and develops a remote team of architects and technical professionals, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Fosters a collaborative, inclusive studio culture that reflects IA’s design values and promotes professional growth.
Responsible for assembling, hiring, onboarding, and cross-training a diverse team.
Education, Work Experience, and Leadership
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture or design program.
Experience
15+ years of experience in commercial architecture and design.
AIA Licensed Architect required
Proven experience building and leading cross-functional, high-volume design and documentation teams and driving business objectives, including defining workflows, KPIs, and governance structures.
Demonstrated success managing large-scale, complex project delivery and team operations, successfully navigating multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
Experience managing a remote workforce across multiple time zones is strongly desired.

Expertise in interior design principles, standards, and execution to include technical drawing and detailing.
Ability to establish and maintain documentation standards, perform QA/QC reviews, and ensure design intent is carried through deliverables.
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies and resource allocation in global delivery contexts.
Experience implementing technology-driven efficiencies (automation, cloud collaboration, data management).
Software Proficiency
Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCad and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
