BlueStorm Technologies has an excellent career opportunity for an experienced Application Developer. This is an opportunity to become a member of our Enterprise Services Team participating collaboratively with team members to provide reliable enterprise class platforms. This position requires excellent understanding of software development methodologies, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, focus on continual process improvement and creating high quality deliverables, and the ability to communicate issue resolution and vision effectively. In addition, we are looking for individuals that are motivated to keep up with industry trends, have a professional demeanor, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidate Must Be Able To

• Design, develop and maintain web-based applications to support a variety of products, services and users
• Demonstrate excellent modeling and design skills
• Be a Self-Starter; focus and manage expectations with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with project team to provide reliable enterprise-class web solutions
• Make recommendations on software or process improvements based on observation of patterns in user-reported issues with a focus on continual process improvement
• Have a firm understanding of data and how best to manage and visualize it in a way that provides customers useful/actionable information
• Handle multiple responsibilities and operate in a fast paced environment
  
  

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related technical field of study along with experience and certification in related technologies is desirable. Experience with Java/JEE platform is highly desirable.
