Requirements / Qualifications

Letter of interest Up-to-date resume Three current letters of reference Valid California Teaching Multiple Subject Credential or CA Adult Ed Credential for Elementary and Secondary Basic Skills Ability to teach multiple subjects CBEST ***Successful applicants must clear a Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department background check. This position is based at the Santa Clara County Correctional Jail facility. ***ONLY CANDIDATES WHO FORWARD COMPLETE APPLICATION PACKETS WILL BE CONSIDERED***

copy of TB test copy of credential official transcripts Job Qualifications: Experience and proficiency using technology and the internet for instructional purposes. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team. Excellent interpersonal skills organizational skills, including ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse students and staff. Willingness and ability to comply with the school's policies, procedures, and mandates. Ability to perform basic attendance account and record-keeping tasks as required. Ability to fulfill compliance requirements. Ability to address the educational, career and personal goals of adult learners. ***Successful applicants must clear a Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department background check.
