We’re looking for an Acoustic Test Engineer to join a specialist engineering team developing and testing next-generation consumer technology in Redmond, Washington.

This is a hands-on, laboratory-based position where you’ll test audio hardware and prototypes, analyse acoustic performance and help ensure new products deliver an excellent audio experience.

What you’ll be doing:

🎧 Conducting acoustic and audio hardware measurements

🎙️ Testing devices using HATS, measurement microphones and acoustic chambers

📊 Measuring frequency response, distortion, impedance, speech intelligibility and audio quality

🧪 Creating and following repeatable test procedures

💻 Analysing, organising and presenting measurement data

🤝 Working alongside hardware, software and product engineering teams

🔧 Helping maintain and improve the acoustic laboratory

What we’re looking for:

✅ 3+ years of hands-on audio hardware or acoustic testing experience

✅ Experience with HATS and acoustic measurement equipment

✅ Familiarity with tools such as HEAD acoustics ACQUA, Audio Precision or Listen SoundCheck

✅ Experience testing consumer electronics, headphones, wearables, speakers or similar devices

✅ Strong attention to detail and clear technical documentation skills

Experience with Klippel, MATLAB, Python, psychoacoustics or laser displacement measurement equipment would be beneficial but is not essential.

This would suit someone who enjoys practical laboratory work and wants to contribute to innovative consumer technology alongside an experienced international engineering team.
