Rudina Seseri shared thisHuge ramifications!Rudina Seseri shared thisNo modern software stack is built from scratch anymore. Every modern application is assembled from thousands of open source components that are pulled automatically into build pipelines and run without human oversight, which means most companies don’t actually know what is running inside their infrastructure. That blind spot was just exploited in what is likely the most significant supply chain attack of 2026. ⚠ One misconfigured workflow. Five ecosystems. 500,000 compromised systems. 300 gigabytes weaponized, and the situation is still unfolding... If you are watching this unfold, the real question is simple: can your team actually verify what’s running in your pipeline today? 🔍 That question is exactly why we invested in Kusari. Kusari maps everything running in your software pipeline, including every dependency, its origin, and whether it has been tampered with, and keeps that map continuously updated as code ships, enabling teams to intervene early before an issue cascades. Tim Miller, Michael Lieberman, and Parth Patel, CISSP co-created GUAC, sit on the OpenSSF Governing Board, and lead Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) TAG Security, helping define the standards the industry is now racing to adopt. If your team is rethinking supply chain verification after the last two weeks, feel free to reach out. Happy to compare notes. #TeamPCP #CanisterWorm #Trivy #LiteLLM #SupplyChainAttack #DevSecOps

Rudina Seseri shared thisLast week, researchers from Google Research and Google DeepMind published TurboQuant, and memory chip stocks from Micron to Samsung sold off billions within days. The reaction drew instant comparisons to DeepSeek AI. Whether that comparison holds long-term is another question, but the underlying reasoning is worth understanding. TurboQuant compresses the memory that AI models consume by over 6x, with no measurable loss in quality. This means AI can do a lot more with a lot less hardware. The technology is still in early research, but it is still very significant. For today’s AI Atlas, I am breaking down what TurboQuant actually does, why it moved markets, and where it matters most for enterprise adopters. Thank you to Amir Zandieh, Majid Daliri, Majid Hadian, and Vahab Mirrokni for such an interesting read!

Rudina Seseri shared thisExcited and proud to officially welcome 14 new advisors to Glasswing's Advisory Councils! These are operators and founders who have done the hard thing inside enterprise AI, and they lend their expertise to our founders directly, working with them on real problems. At Glasswing, being first-capital-in means that the check is only the beginning. This is just one of the ways that we back up that commitment.Rudina Seseri shared thisWe’re pleased to welcome 14 new advisors to Glasswing Ventures’ Connect and Protect Advisory Councils, expanding our network to 70 AI and industry leaders. These advisors represent the highest tier of AI and enterprise talent, including operators driving innovation inside leading organizations, founders building and scaling companies, and business leaders at the forefront of emerging technology waves. As first-capital-in investors, we believe our commitment to founders extends well beyond the check. Our advisory councils serve to strengthen this commitment. The cohort of advisors announced today will work directly with the firm and our founders to navigate enterprise AI adoption and unlock growth. Rudina Seseri shared thisSo proud of and inspired by Paul English and Ellen Rubin!Rudina Seseri shared thisThis week was one of the highlights of my career. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced that Boston will offer AI curriculum in September to all 25 Boston public high schools. I first wrote about this idea in Boston Magazine in August 2025, and then presented it to the Mayor two months ago, where it then rapidly spread across her team. I think Boston is the first major city to commit to teaching AI to all public high school students! This will be done in partnership with the Institute of Applied AI at UMASS Boston, starting with BPS teacher training this summer. I'm working with Ellen Rubin to form an Industry Advisory Board who will help BPS develop curriculum that is up to date and which covers both foundational theory as well as instruction in a handful of leading AI tools. I'm excited that all BPS high school students will learn how to use AI responsibly, learn about avoiding bias and hallucinations, learning how to use AI to improve their own studies, and learning how to build apps. These students will then teach their parents and their families how they can use AI. When these students get jobs in Boston, they will train their companies how to use AI. I honestly believe this will grow the Boston economy, as BPS AI-smart graduates teach their employers how to use AI to offer better products and services, and how to acquire and support more customers. From UMASS Boston, I want to especially thank Professor Wei Ding but also Marcelo M Suarez-Orozco and Joe Berger for their visionary leadership in teaching AI to all students, not just to technology students. I'm thrilled to work with Mary Skipper and Stephen Chan to turn this bold vision into reality. The most exciting part of this vision is not what us leaders are talking about this week, but instead, to see what our students invent. https://lnkd.in/e2BTKh22Boston launches push to teach every high school grad to use AI criticallyBoston launches push to teach every high school grad to use AI critically

Rudina Seseri shared thisI am so excited for the initiative that Paul English and our very own, Ellen Rubin, have undertaken in collaboration with Mayor Wu to advance AI literacy in public schools. AI is a most powerful set of technologies and arming the next generation with the right skill set to leverage AI for good will emerge as a paramount need. #AILiteracy #publicschools Glasswing Ventures #MAAICoalitionRudina Seseri shared thisBoston just made history 🚀 Today, Mayor Michelle Wu, Superintendent Mary Skipper, and Paul English announced a landmark public-private partnership to make Boston the first major U.S. city to ensure every Boston Public School student graduates with AI proficiency: https://lnkd.in/enKEWJp9 Starting with 20 high schools and expanding districtwide, this initiative will provide students with hands-on AI experience, career pathways, and real mentorship from industry leaders. Educators will receive advanced training and sustained support. And through the Paul English Applied AI Institute at UMass Boston — the first university-based institute of its kind — students will co-develop "Applied AI" curriculum that prepares them for whatever comes next, whether college, career, or entrepreneurship. I'm honored to co-chair the BPS AI Industry Advisory Board alongside Paul. The Advisory Board will leverage the talent, AI expertise, and commitment of the Boston technology community to build close ties between our schools and leading AI companies in the Boston ecosystem. Boston has always been a leader in education and innovation. Now we're channeling that legacy into something truly transformational — equipping the next generation with the skills and confidence to shape the AI era, not just navigate it. Huge thanks to Mayor Wu, Superintendent Skipper, UMass Boston Chancellor Marcelo Suárez-Orozco, and everyone who made this possible. And to the Boston tech community: we have a wealth of skills and support we can bring to the table. This is exactly the moment to show up for our city. Rudina Seseri shared thisThrilled to share that Glasswing Ventures has co-led the Seed round in Krane! Construction is a $2T+ industry still running on spreadsheets and phone calls. Eshan Jayamanne, PE is that rare founder who has lived this problem intimately and at the highest scale. That combination of domain credibility and technical ambition is exactly what we back at Glasswing, and their traction speaks for itself. Looking forward to the road ahead!Rudina Seseri shared thisWe are excited to announce our Seed investment in Krane, the AI-native platform bringing visibility and coordination to construction supply chains. Eshan Jayamanne, PE, Founder and CEO, and the Krane team are transforming construction procurement by automating manual coordination and reducing supply chain risk across complex projects. Already, Krane supports more than $15 billion in active projects across the U.S. and Canada. Rudina Seseri reacted on thisReposting with pride! Liquid AI was founded on a simple but powerful idea: that there is a better path for AI, one that is efficient, elegant, powerful, and built to run everywhere. Over the past three years, it has been a joy to build this journey together with my co-founders Mathias Lechner, Ramin Hasani, Alexander Amini, and a remarkable team. What inspires me most is that this is about more than better models. It is about enabling a broader future for AI, where intelligence is more accessible, more sustainable, and more deeply integrated into the systems that shape our world. Great things happen when talented people come together around a bold mission. Congratulations to our whole Liquid AI team. As Mathias says, the best is still ahead.Rudina Seseri reacted on this3 years of Liquid AI. We set out to prove that there's a better way to build AI: smaller, faster, more efficient, and designed to run everywhere. Last night we came together to celebrate this milestone, and looking around the room, I was reminded that the best part of this journey has always been the people. The best is still ahead. This is just the beginning.

Rudina Seseri reacted on thisHonored to join Glasswing Ventures Advisory Council - and honestly, a little starstruck to be part of a network of 70 AI and industry leaders committed to helping founders navigate enterprise AI adoption. Glasswing has a compelling AI thesis and the track record to back it up. It is the kind of firm that makes the whole ecosystem better. But what truly motivated me to join was the people. Rudina Seseri is the kind of investor who backs founders before the path is obvious and lifts the entire ecosystem in the process. And Ellen Rubin - a serial founder who built and sold companies to Verizon and AWS - is now channeling that same founder energy into empowering the next generation of builders. Truly inspiring. I'm genuinely moved by what these two women have built, and thrilled to be part of the innovation they drive.Rudina Seseri reacted on thisWe’re pleased to welcome 14 new advisors to Glasswing Ventures’ Connect and Protect Advisory Councils, expanding our network to 70 AI and industry leaders. Rudina Seseri liked thisEvery GC wants supply chain visibility. But here's the problem nobody talks about: the data doesn't live with the GC. It lives with the subcontractors. Lead times. Fabrication status. Delivery schedules. Purchase order confirmations. All of it sits with the trade partners — which means most project managers spend their days sending follow-up emails instead of managing risk. The assumption I used to hear a lot: subs won't want to be inside the system. Too much exposure. Too much accountability. I sat down with Senior Project Manager Jack Craig at HITT Contracting Inc. - customer and partner - to talk through what it actually looks like when subcontractors are inside the supply chain, and why transparency ends up working in everyone's favour. Spoiler: he pushed back on that assumption pretty directly. 👇 This is the first in a series of conversations with the HITT team — covering everything from how procurement data carries across projects, to what happens when materials get delayed, to why the old way of working just stopped making sense.

Rudina Seseri liked thisRudina Seseri liked thisBecause of the vast tokens generated by agentic A.I. workflows, my guest today Rohit Choudhary sees enterprise data soon increasing at nearly 10x per YEAR. He's zen though... because he's built the platform to handle it... More on Rohit: • Founder and CEO of Acceldata, a Bay Area software company that has raised nearly $100m in venture capital to advance data observability and Agentic Data Management for the A.I. era. • Previously, was Director of Engineering at Hortonworks, where he led large-scale distributed systems initiatives across open-source data platforms. Some of the great topics covered in this episode: • How Rohit coined the term "data observability" in 2018. • Fixing bad data at the point of consumption can be roughly a thousand times more expensive than catching and fixing it as it flows through the pipeline. • For your enterprise data to be AI ready, they need to satisfy multiple dimensions, incl. technical accuracy and business-context compliance. • Enterprise data grow 4-5x year-over-year now, accelerating to nearly 10x soon, driven largely by the explosion of A.I. agents generating queries and activity at a scale that dwarfs human users. • The most valuable developers won't necessarily be the best programmers — they'll be the ones with the clearest thinking, the deepest domain expertise, and the curiosity to articulate precisely what outcomes they need. Thanks to Anthropic, Cisco, Acceldata and the Open Data Science Conference (ODSC) for supporting today's episode of the "Super Data Science Podcast with Jon Krohn", enabling the show to be freely available on all major podcasting platforms as well as YouTube. In a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, experience-centered AI is poised to drive the next wave of innovation. Unlike incremental point solutions that address isolated inefficiencies, this approach integrates AI seamlessly across all touchpoints - creating a cohesive, patient-centric system. By focusing on outcomes, not just outputs, experience-centered AI empowers both patients and healthcare providers, improving communication, trust, and health outcomes. With tools designed to reduce administrative burdens and personalize care, this paradigm shift promises more affordable, efficient, and empathetic healthcare. The key to success will be fostering trust through responsible, transparent AI development that protects privacy and mitigates bias. #AIinHealthcare #PatientExperience #Healthcare #DigitalHealth #AI https://lnkd.in/gey7mU2i

Institutions don’t fail all at once. They fail when design can’t keep up with change. In Davos this week, I’ll be joining the inaugural gathering of the Institutional Research Network, a new initiative convened by The Digital Economist. The focus is not another set of conversations but the patient work of connecting research, markets, and governance so ideas can take institutional form and hold under real-world pressure. Some initiatives are about visibility. This one is about durability. #Davos2026 #InstitutionalDesign #IRN #TheDigitalEconomist

The hardest companies to build are often the ones the world needs most. Resilience Tech—spanning hardware, software, deep tech, and infrastructure—demands more than just great ideas. The real test isn’t proving the technology works—it’s building it into a company that can scale and last. At B Capital, Karly Wentz and I distilled what we’ve learned into a 10-factor framework for growth investing in this space. It’s how we separate promising pilots from companies that can scale into lasting platforms. How did a small city like the City of Corona become a surprising innovation hub for AI? In our latest GovAI podcast, I sat down with Chris McMasters, CIO of Corona, California. After nearly two decades in the private sector, Chris made the leap into government—driven by a sense of purpose to serve. Our conversation tackled a big question: why does government often lag in adopting new technologies like AI? Chris explained it’s not about chasing the latest tech—it’s about protecting the people they serve and ensuring any new tool actually makes a difference. The key? Build trust first, then show—not tell—how technology can help. Chris believes AI won’t replace people—it’ll free them to focus on what humans do best. His vision: a future where city services are as seamless as ordering from Amazon, with AI agents removing the red tape. For anyone working in GovTech, or trying to break in, you'll learn a lot from this conversation. 🔗 Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/dzNed-ZP or listen here: https://lnkd.in/dhpwW_-8

I recently joined Alex Shevelenko, CEO of RELAYTO AI, on the podcast to discuss how leaders can navigate the intersection of AI and shifting business landscapes. We discussed the challenges CEOs face with two jobs: running the current business model and designing the next one. If you aren’t auditing your business model with the same rigor as your financial statements, you’re at risk. And the biggest hurdle to innovation isn't technical; it's a culture that fears failure. To succeed with AI, organizations must move away from "gut feelings" and toward a structured, mathematical process of experimentation. If Mustafa Suleyman is even half right and “most white‑collar work will be fully automated within 12–18 months,” founders and innovation leaders have two choices. Sit in the anxiety of what happens to us? Or, start deliberately re‑designing how we work with these tools. Suleyman, the CEO of Microsoft AI, lays out that 12–18 month horizon very plainly in this interview: https://lnkd.in/gSgjuRP4 At the same time, the companies building this tech appear to be wobbling. OpenAI researcher Zoe Hitzig recently resigned, warning that their “archive of human thought” now powers an ad platform with massive potential for manipulation. Over at xAI, Musk reportedly lost 10 co‑founders and engineers in a single week. Ethics, burnout, and speed-at-all-costs are colliding. So we’re in a strange moment. Capital is betting that AI will replace expensive human labor, the builders themselves are sounding alarms about how it’s deployed, and most founders, intrapreneurs, and consultants are stuck in the middle, unsure how to move. My view with AFFIRMAITIVE is that AI shouldn’t just be a cheaper worker. It should be a better collaborator. That’s why we built OPA™ (AFFIRMAITIVE’s Operating Partner Architect) as a digital colleague that helps you stress-test ideas and business models with structure, build the plans, financials, and decks investors expect, and generate functional prototypes without needing to code. Not to erase but to amplify human judgment. If the next 12–18 months are as disruptive as predicted, it is my belief that the winners won’t be those who ignore AI or those who outsource everything to it. It will be people and teams who learn to work with it, intentionally. That’s who we’re building for. #AFFIRMAITIVE #OPA #AI #futureofwork #entrepreneurship

What is Deep Tech orchestration? BBN Times have sought to explain it in the article below. It involves the strategic integration and coordination of advanced technologies such as AI, digital twins, blockchain, and quantum computing -- and is essential for driving innovation and transformation across various industries. The prize is that, when effectively orchestrated, Deep Tech can deliver transformative benefits, including enhanced operational efficiency, cost reduction, and improved decision-making. Looking ahead, we may well need our education systems to be recalibrated to equip future leaders with the skills necessary for Deep Tech orchestration. We would be interested in your thoughts on this. For the full article, see: https://lnkd.in/gf3tx4RY

An interesting read on #AImanagement: The Rise of #AI Corporate Citizens: which AI models to follow - what’s at stake - where humans lead: “#Leaders need to invest in operating-model redesigns, build new talent archetypes, and establish trust mechanisms that enable humans and AI to #collaborate safely and effectively at #scale. 👉🏻Humans will be custodians, who ensure the integrity of #data, model performance, and customer outcomes. 👉🏻Judgment holders who handle ambiguous or high-stakes decisions where context, nuance, and trust are essential. 👉🏻Approvers and auditors who review exceptions, manage escalations, and reinforce compliance boundaries. 💡Rethinking decision-making with 🧠 ‘smart ops’ To unlock the full potential of AI in service operations, organizations need to do more than deploy technology. They need to rearchitect how decisions are made and how work is done—by building a “smart ops” structure where humans and AI agents operate in coordinated, complementary roles. 📍#Governance and oversight - Humans operate under #policies and cultural norms. AI agents need the same guardrails: ethical #frameworks, transparency, auditability, and fail-safes for sensitive decisions. Especially in regulated sectors, this isn’t optional—it’s existential.” Source: McKinsey #ai #aimanagement #aiefficiency #llm #agenticai #aimodels #aiframework #infra #aipolicies #government #aisafety #impact #scale #generalpurpose #data #mckinsey

While investing in #AI, many corporations fail to achieve strong ROI as a result. The root of this failure is not technological. It is macroeconomic and organizational. US enterprises are attempting to execute a paradigm-shifting technological transition within a market environment that offers them no structural shock absorber, in the way a formal industrial policy can. These enterprises must navigate the AI transition while addressing a rapidly changing market environment and the AI Stakeholder Squeeze. The post builds expands on some of the ideas presented in the recent podcast with Ben Lorica 罗瑞卡 about remaining employable in the AI era (https://lnkd.in/gAGRYxQN) #AIstakeholdersqueeze #AItransition #industrialpolicy

This McKinsey piece captures an important inflection point. The shift toward sovereign AI is not simply about technological capability — it is about who defines, capitalizes, and governs the ecosystems through which AI scales. What is becoming clear is that competitive advantage will not accrue to those who merely deploy models, but to those who architect and anchor the full stack — from compute and data governance to capital formation and institutional alignment. In that context, the traditional boundaries between public policy, capital markets, and enterprise strategy begin to converge. Jurisdictions that approach AI as sovereign infrastructure — and align long-duration capital with system-scale operators — will not only capture innovation, but shape the terms under which it compounds globally. The next phase will likely be defined by deliberate coordination between policymakers, builders, and patient capital — particularly where there is an opportunity to establish nationally significant platforms with global reach. For those allocating capital or building within this space, the question is no longer whether to participate, but whether they are positioned at the orchestration layer — or operating within someone else’s system.

I’m lucky to work alongside colleagues like Richard Fruehauf, who constantly push my thinking. His latest piece unpacks why U.S. robotics and drone manufacturing faces uphill economics, and how public policy can help turn the tide. One key takeaway: 232 tariffs on robotics imports could help reset the economics that are holding back U.S. investment and production. It’s a sharp perspective on how policy can shape the future of advanced tech here at home. Well worth a read: https://lnkd.in/edMPTQPQ Richard Fruehauf, Robert J.
