A big s/o to Matt Rissmiller, Jamal Henderson, Peter Scalettar, Rob Ford, Sami Khan, Susan Ansman, Trishtan Williams, Aaron Holbert, Heather Sokolow, Cherisse McKenzie, Sheila Cole, Aldo DiCuffa, Paul Hirschheimer, Dion Cocoros, Kerry Caiafa, Ron Mencer, Jamal Toppi, Camara Rose, Erica Harvey (Dixon), Lauryn Simone, Ethan Lewis, Julianna Klimeck, Sam Pepper, Sean Rodgers and so many others who were in the trenches every single day on The SpringHill Company's biggest in-house production. And of course a massive thank you to Gabe Spitzer, Jenna Anthony, Max Wagner, Will Ullman, Gianina Thompson, Abby Freemire and everyone on Team Netflix! "Emo Jimmy" was the first scene we filmed...and yes, we licensed Fall Out Boy to bring it all together! Working with Peymon Maskan, Jenna Wilson, Natasha Zemlin, David Nieman & Miles Sheft to get A+ music in the series was such a highlight for me personally. The films, the panels, the live podcast (Draymond Green x Trae Young winning a Webby for it) and the conversations (Joel Embiid and Maverick Carter) were incredible. Next week, we are running it back ... returning to Los Angeles at Neuehouse Hollywood July 9-10, we celebrate athlete storytelling at the intersection of sports, culture and filmmaking. Some of the highlights include: Live taping of Podcast P with Paul George and a very special guest. State of The Game conversations with renowned athletes Toni Breidinger, Chiaka Ogbogu, Seniesa Estrada and Trey Benson.
