Michael Young shared thisHello all, I don’t usually use LinkedIn to call out for charitable donations, but this is very much the exception. Ed Marshall, who is a 100 year old WWII veteran is willing to put his life on the line yet again with a fund raising parachute jump on June 13th. I have a personal connection with Ed and consider him one of the very best people I’ve had the privilege to know. He’s raising for the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. This hospital has provided research, cures and solutions for worldwide benefit - for decades. Please help Ed make his $100,000 goal. He’s being absolutely selfless with his well-being to achieve this - lets help ensure his effort goes the whole way!

KIN is a group of local Toronto Beach residents that mobilized to sponsor a Syrian family and a single Syrian man to settle in Toronto. 1.5 years later, all the individuals we brought to Canada are now able to communicate in English and are attending school to further their education and contribute to Canadian society. The single man we brought in was a math and science teacher, who is working to re-certify but in meantime is working as a math tutor and a waiter.
