“Michael has been a manager who constantly inspires and motivates people, in any stage of their careers to bring out their absolute best. He was always present to patiently answer my questions, guide and direct me, and as an intern working under him, I had the opportunity to attend several workshops, meetings and work on projects I would not be able to otherwise. He is very encouraging and extremely knowledgeable, making him not just a great manager but also an amazing professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Entegris with him!”

See my publication of latest research paper peer reviewed journal, "Agentic AI in the Enterprise: How Autonomous AI Systems Will Reshape Business Strategy, Operations, and Leadership," in Well Testing Journal (Vol. 34, 2025). This paper delves into the transformative impact of agentic AI, moving beyond generative models to autonomously sense, decide, and act within enterprises, ushering in a new era of operational efficiency and leadership dynamics. The research underscores the dual nature of opportunities and responsibilities that accompany the integration of these systems. From enhancing operational efficiencies to presenting novel leadership challenges, the study sheds light on the far-reaching implications of deploying agentic AI in business settings. 🔗 Access the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eSGG7UQM If you don't have membership in google scholar or well testing journal, the summary is in the below website. https://lnkd.in/eK6p4JmD 💬 I invite you to share your reflections: - How do you envision agentic AI reshaping your industry? - What aspects excite you the most, and what concerns do you harbor? Your insights will contribute to a nuanced discussion, shaping the strategic approaches of leaders and organizations as they navigate this new frontier of AI.

"Strategic Intolerance". I stumbled across this nugget today in an interesting topic from Gartner. It's has to do with how tolerating certain types of behaviors can define the culture of an organization. It is reflected in the everyday behaviors of its employees. It's evident in attitudes about work, how well they collaborate, and how they interact with customers and other stakeholders. As a result, the culture has an enormous influence on a company's potential for success. What behaviors are present in your situation and how will you craft a plan for "Strategic Intolerance"? https://lnkd.in/ggXJT9kE

Break silos. Activate metadata. Power AI. Most metadata programs don’t fail because teams lack tools. They fail because metadata repositories get built in isolation. The result is fragmented context, weak data lineage, and outcomes that can’t be trusted. Get a complimentary of the digital book “Fundamentals of Metadata Management” by Ole Olesen-Bagneux, VP and Chief Evangelist at Actian. It explores a modern approach to scalable, federated metadata built for semantic structure, compliance, and AI readiness. These are some of the high-impact Gen AI business use cases (Likely Wins below) that have generally delivered strong results and ROI for many organizations. I found starting with small, focused investments and taking incremental steps can be an effective way to build trust and confidence across the business.

AI isn't just evolving; it's transforming chemical supply chains at warp speed. Day 2 at the American Chemical Manufacturing Summit. Deep dive into SAP's AI solutions for chemical process manufacturing and real-time data...and I'm seeing how this tech isn't just about efficiency. It's about strategic advantage. As Marines, we learned that situational awareness wins battles. Same principle applies here. AI agents are giving companies like, say, Dow or BASF, near-perfect real-time visibility across their entire supply network. Think about that. No more lagging indicators, just proactive insights. I saw a demo of how SAP's AI is being used to predict supply chain disruptions before they happen. Real-time data plus predictive analytics equals a HUGE advantage. The best part? It frees up your people to focus on the human element – building relationships, innovating, and solving complex problems that algorithms can't touch. Question is, are you truly ready to embrace this level of visibility? Don't just talk about digital transformation. Start demanding it. Find one area in your supply chain TODAY where real-time data and AI can give you a decisive edge. Stop settling for reactive firefighting. AI isn’t just a tool for architects; it’s changing how enterprise architecture itself evolves. The maturity model highlights three stages: Level 1: AI-Augmented – Documentation support, standards drafting, diagram creation, trade-off analysis and rationalization insights. Level 2: Predictive – Portfolio trend forecasting, standards drift detection and cost/risk scenario modeling. Level 3: Autonomous – Governance on autopilot, continuous optimization, and self-updating architecture models. These aren’t abstract ideas. AI is already generating diagrams from code, surfacing portfolio risks, and proposing optimizations that once took weeks. EA Leaders: where does your organization sit today, are there other scenarios people are using AI in evolving the EA capability?

Production planning has become incredibly complex. Teams are juggling volatile demand, supply uncertainty, and constant changes on the shop floor, often with tools that weren’t built to handle this kind of variability. AI and intelligent agents are starting to close that gap. They help planners move beyond static spreadsheets and manual workflows, making it possible to adjust plans in real time as conditions change. This executive guide from RELEX Solutions takes a practical look at how manufacturers are starting that shift toward more responsive, intelligent planning. Worth a read if you’re exploring how AI fits into modern production operations.

I work with influencers 💅 I think if you asked them both, they sort of hate being called influencers 😆 Regardless of the semantics, they're innovators. Rather than sticking with the status quo tools they're most familiar with, they're constantly diving into what's new and exciting in the world of business intelligence. If you'll be at the Sigma Summit conference next week, be sure to ask them what they're working on.

The only constant is change, and wow, are we feeling it in the discovery world right now. Data types are shifting, collaboration tools keep evolving, and expectations around cost, speed, and defensibility are not easing up. On top of that, there's all kinds of pressure to stay on top of the latest and greatest AI has to offer. So how do discovery programs actually keep pace? We have to evolve. One line from this article by Sara R. Wood and Debora Jones really stuck with me: “Evolution doesn’t mean abandoning structure; it means building a disciplined foundation with controlled agility.” That idea captures the balance so many legal teams are trying to strike. Staying true to core principles while intentionally making room for iteration, testing, and innovation. If you're interested in a practical framework for keeping your discovery program current and effective, without sacrificing stability or defensibility, I highly recommend giving it a read.

Tariff changes continue to pile onto an already stressed supply chain. For many manufacturers, it’s not about adapting once, it’s about adapting again. That means rethinking sourcing strategies, optimizing inventory with total landed cost in mind, and closing workflow gaps that just can’t wait. RELEX Solutions gives perspective on what to prioritize now: https://relex.link/3J4clSZ #SupplyChainChallenges #InventoryOptimization #TariffImpact

Price Elasticity & Guardrails in Manufacturing Theres always friction in price changes. They ripple across channels and customers with little visibility into demand impact. Sales teams argue for volume, finance protects margin, and no one agrees on the “safe zone.” We recently helped a global client develop a capability to address this complex challenge. Estimate elasticity by SKU family, customer tier, and region. Then embed guardrails that flag risky moves before they hit the market. Each change carries a predicted impact on volume, revenue, and margin, tied to actual cost structures. Build a service trained on bill-of-materials costs, regional demand curves, competitor price crawls, and historical quote data. It returns elasticities with confidence intervals and automates guardrails within quoting or ERP workflows. A data product that has a 2-5% operating margin improvement through smarter cost pass-throughs, 8-12% reduction in unprofitable discounting across distributors, and stronger channel trust with transparent, data-driven price logic. In manufacturing, every price change travels fast through distributors, contracts, and customer expectations. Guardrails make those changes defensible, profitable, and repeatable. Go Fast. Be Smart. Win! #DataAI #Manufacturing #PricingAnalytics #Coefficient #AIinAction
