Kevin Corwin liked thisKevin Corwin liked thisA few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to visit Great Dane's Huntsville manufacturing facility and get a firsthand look at the Freedom Ultra, which officially launched today. As an MBA Corporate Strategy Intern, this was one of the highlights of my summer. Seeing the product up close was exciting, but what stood out most was learning about the people, processes, and collaboration required to bring a new product to market. Thank you to Harrison Smookler, Brad Karl, Jessica M., and the entire Huntsville team for taking the time to share their expertise and answer my many questions. I'm especially grateful for their willingness to help coordinate this visit, despite it being outside the scope of my internship project. Their support gave me the opportunity to explore an area of personal interest and gain valuable firsthand insight into the manufacturing process. Experiences like this have given me a deeper appreciation for how strategy and operations come together to drive innovation. Congratulations to everyone involved in the successful launch of the Freedom Ultra! I'm grateful to have witnessed a small part of the journey.

Kevin Corwin liked thisKevin Corwin liked thisAs I wrap up my final day as an Engineering Intern at Great Dane, I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly rewarding summer. During my internship, I had the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of trailer components, perform Finite Element Analysis to evaluate part performance, and support projects that helped improve product quality and reliability. Being able to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges and see the impact of my work has been an invaluable experience. I am extremely grateful to everyone at Great Dane who made this internship so meaningful. A special thank you to Juan Rocha, Jessica M., and Megan Mullininx Jefferson for your mentorship, guidance, and support throughout the summer. Your willingness to share your knowledge and invest in my growth helped me develop both technically and professionally. This experience has strengthened my passion for engineering and given me valuable skills that I will carry with me throughout my career. I am proud of the contributions I was able to make and thankful to have been part of such a talented team.
