Capitalization of current strengths to create forward progress: cross-sell to who you already know to increase revenue velocity. #Outbound or #GTM Engineering are both requirements for an optimized revenue engine. But, let's focus on #allbound for this exercise. 1. You're a #PrivateEquity firm with a SaaS portfolio of mid-market-sized healthcare SaaS companies. 2. You're obsessively tracking "Rule of 40" across your fund, but you're painfully aware that #revenue #velocity is lagging the benchmark. 3. You know there is a shared customer base AND shared #TAM across your portfolio, but tracking these leads and creating opportunities is manual, siloed, and typically ends in failure. The Solution: 1. The simplest solution with immediate impact is Crossbeam. We're a customer and a partner. Here are three common mistakes I’ve seen: 1️⃣ Underestimating the local dynamics Colombia does not operate under the same regulatory, urban planning, or commercial frameworks as the U.S. or Europe. Licensing timelines, legal procedures, and market behavior require local understanding. Misreading these factors often leads to delays and unexpected costs. 2️⃣ Focusing only on price instead of project structuring A “low” price per square meter does not automatically translate into profitability. Real value lies in technical feasibility, financial modeling, and market positioning. Without solid structuring, projected returns can easily shrink. 3️⃣ Investing without a trusted local partner Remote investment demands on-the-ground coordination, risk anticipation, and process control. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by El Economista for an article exploring the challenges facing the construction industry during times of economic uncertainty, and the critical role technology plays in addressing them. I firmly believe that Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital tools are invaluable assets during uncertain times.
