Gina Prodan Kelly reposted thisSo how are you going to track credential and skill attainment? (And how long have we been asking this question in the education and workforce development space?!) Since being laid off last April, a small group of friends and I, led by technical architect and dynamo Matthew Sahagian, have been building Primd. We're a tiny cooperative startup that provides a platform for workers and learners to translate, own, validate, track and grow their skills/ credentials while building social capital and developing their own unique, values-aligned pathways. We're also building out an employer insights hub that will allow employers to understand the capabilities of their workforce for upskilling and identifying useful skills their employees possess outside of their job description and duties as assigned. Want to learn more about Primd and build with us? Check out https://primd.app/learn and reach out if you'd like to have a chat! https://lnkd.in/gcE6kfTJGina Prodan Kelly reposted thisStates, institutions, & workforce partners must rethink how they track, validate, and tell the story of credential attainment & skill acquisition. Self-reported surveys won't be enough. LinkedIn or resume self-assertions won’t be enough. Defaulting to Revolutionary War era parchment or electronic transcripts won’t be enough. Outcomes data, wage record access, cross-agency partnerships, and integrated learning and employment records are now a mission-critical part of the education and training data infrastructure. https://lnkd.in/em8YXQXf

Gina Prodan Kelly reposted thisGina Prodan Kelly reposted thisIf San Diego FC can succeed in persuading Mo Salah to join them after he leaves Liverpool at the end of this season they will allow Major League Soccer to go into the post-World Cup period with three global superstars representing three different continents. Salah isn't just a big name and a star player, he is the most popular player from the MENA region ever. If you have ever been to the Gulf states, for example, you will know his personal fan-base goes well beyond his native Egypt. Just as Son Heung-min of LAFC is the biggest Asian soccer star of all-time, Salah moves the needle for MLS and in the Messi era it isn't easy to find such a player. That's why, on Thursday in Atlanta at the Sports Business Journal 'Business of Soccer' conference, MLS Commissioner Don Garber spoke so positively about a possible Salah arrival and San Diego owner Sir Mohammed Mansour named his fellow Egyptian as his favourite player of all-time. A potential deal may be a long way off (and Saudi competition would be hard to beat) but the mood music suggested there is strong support within MLS for the idea. The signing of Antoine Griezmann by Orlando City and the possible arrival of Salah are just two of the topics we discussed on this week's The Soccer Business Podcast after a busy week on the road for myself and Andre Da Costa. We also dive into some of the thought-provoking comments on women's soccer from Arthur M. Blank at the SBJ conference and touch upon the time we spent with the EFL (English Football League) at their owners workshop in Miami, as we review a busy but hugely rewarding week. The Pod is on all audio platforms: https://lnkd.in/eS6FitKT While we were out and about meeting so many subscribers and making new connections, there was also plenty of other news going on in the North American soccer business world and you can catch up with it all in this week's newsletter. Gina Prodan Kelly reposted thisGrateful to Jeffrey Stern for the opportunity to share about the topic that gets me out of bed every day (and often keeps me up at night) — building our Cleveland neighborhoods back better through brick & mortar businesses. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you happen to take a listen. PS. One of my most valued mentors, Josh McManus, I “met” via cold email I sent after listening to an episode with Eve Picker on Small Change. While it’s never comfortable to hear the sound of my own voice, I hope this episode can help pay forward the wisdom Eve & Josh shared with me many years ago.Gina Prodan Kelly reposted thisBrick-and-mortar entrepreneurship is community infrastructure and one of the clearest drivers of value for neighborhoods, but entrepreneurs creating that value rarely share in the upside. Anne Grady Hartnett is working to change that. In 2012, Anne founded Harness Cycle. In 2022, Anne co-founded HCO Partners, a real estate development and operating company focused on supporting independent brick-and-mortar entrepreneurs. Through HCO, she acquired and redeveloped The Vitrolite Building in #Cleveland Hingetown neighborhood. The building now houses a collection of locally owned businesses including Harness Cycle, Soul Yoga, Patron Saint, The Matriarchy, and LUUMA Wellness Suites, forming a collaborative centered around entrepreneurship and community. Gina Prodan Kelly shared thisLesson #7,423: Be lucky enough to have great partners. When we launched the Forest City Cleveland brand (Cleveland Pro Soccer men's team) on Tuesday, March 10, I already had time with Tony Dore, Founder of Arrivo Athletic Wear, scheduled for Thursday. By then, I thought, I'll have a decent sense of the response and how sales are going. I'd planned to do fulfillment until May-ish, when we launch our women's brand. After all: I fulfilled 16,000 season ticket pledge kits during our 2024 campaign. How hard could this be? Back then, I'd just work the day, have an evening. After the kids went to bed, spend a couple hours packing kits. I loved doing it because I could see the names of people supporting our effort. If I knew someone, I'd write them a note. When I had spare stickers, I'd add surprises to random packages. Our FC Cleveland brand was released at 7:30 a.m. By 8:15 a.m. we were already sold out of things and I knew I couldn't keep up. When I showed up on Thursday, I gave Tony the rundown (of how overwhelmed, but grateful we were by the extraordinary support). Without an ounce of judgment, he plotted out how Arrivo could get to work helping us catch up on this first wave of orders and put processes in place to have our operation running the way a pro club should. You can't put this kind of gushing in a partnership announcement. But I wanted to celebrate Tony and the whole Arrivo team out loud.Gina Prodan Kelly shared thisOh, when Cleveland builds together 🌳 We’re proud to welcome ARRIVO Athletic Wear as our official apparel and distribution partner for Forest City Cleveland. Arrivo has been a true partner, through and through. When we were overwhelmed by the extraordinary support we received from our launch, they fast-tracked our partnership and have helped us get your orders moving. (If you’ve placed an order, we sent an email update earlier this week.) Not to mention: put processes in place for us to truly operate as a pro club should. Gina Prodan Kelly shared thisNailed it 🎯 I loved the first concept we fleshed out for our women’s pro soccer team brand. It featured a female cardinal, whose beautiful colorway of tomato, beige and a faded chartreuse was a subtle act of subversion. The team wasn’t the “Lady Cardinals”; we were asserting that THIS is what a Cardinal looks like. Period. Welp. Maybe it was too subtle. We took the concept through focus groups. Reactions were uniformly positive – but in the way no one hates mashed potatoes. “It’s good.” But when you’re birthing the first women’s pro soccer brand in Ohio, “good” is the worst. No one was offended. But no one was inspired. No one was energized. So… we scrapped it. We went back to zero. It took a while to let the concept go. It wasn’t mediocre by any measure, but it was clear it would have been IGNORED. This wasn’t as far as we were capable of going. And I’m grateful that by talking to our community we learned that long before launch day. May 4 will not be a day to ignore. It was a tough winter, with ups and downs in temperature that create tough conditions on our Cleveland roads. 311 handles intake of these requests. Product Marketing Alliance
137K followers
You’ve built the email flows, spun up social, lined up webinars. Yet, there’s still a gap in your GTM. Here’s what keeps surfacing at Product Marketing Alliance: most product marketers are sleeping on one of the most powerful GTM channels out there. Podcasting. And yes, it’s costing real connection with customers. Think about it. Where else do you get 30 minutes of your ideal customer’s undivided attention? Where else do people invite your voice into their daily routines by choice? Not many places. Podcasting brings something special to the table: • Long-form stories that build deep trust • Direct access to niche, highly engaged audiences • Evergreen content that keeps working for you • Honest conversations that show (not just tell) your expertise • Lower noise compared to crowded digital channels You don’t need fancy gear or a huge following to start. What you DO need? A clear point of view, real curiosity about your customers’ struggles, and the willingness to show up again and again. Curious what this could look like for you? Try this: listen to a few podcasts in your space. Notice what hooks you, what feels authentic, what keeps you coming back. Then ask yourself, what conversations could you be leading? When did you realize a new channel was the missing piece in your GTM? Ever tried podcasting (or thinking about it now)? Share your stories or questions below – we’d love to hear what’s working for you. Read Bianca Stanescu, MCIM’s article for more: https://lnkd.in/eRChru4h

Top mistakes agencies make when partnering with institutions Most partnership failures aren’t about intent. They’re about structure. From misaligned expectations to weak compliance processes, small gaps create long-term friction. Strong partnerships aren’t built on volume. Rachel Roberts Mattox, Brand Strategist and co-creator of THE BOARD LAUNCH STUDIO, is sounding the alarm on outdated GTM thinking. In today’s market, it’s not just about what you’re selling. It’s about why it matters. Forget playing by category rules. The brands winning today are tapping into cultural tension, not product specs. Culture before category. Movement before message. Meaning before marketing. If you’re still leading with features, you’re already behind. Tap in. Stay sharp. Build what matters. #WEARETHEBOARD #Fractional #DreamTeams #FutureOfWork #LaunchStudio

Most buyer personas end up in a drawer. (Or the modern-day equivalent...old server files? Email folders? Archived folders on your desktop?) Why the quick discard? Buyer personas have gotten too generic. Too theoretical. Too disconnected from how people buy. Our #client Fire-Dex worked with us on personas that delivered. They needed to learn more about how fire chiefs, procurement officers, and frontline firefighters all interact, influence each other, and ultimately make buying decisions together. So we built something different: a research-backed framework grounded in real interviews, survey data, and competitive analysis that mapped the full decision-making ecosystem. The result? Messaging that resonated. Sales could navigate conversations knowing what each stakeholder valued. And product teams could spot gaps they'd been missing. All based on a persona strategy that earned its spot at the top of the desk, not the bottom of the drawer. The best personas don't just describe who your audience is. They help you turn them into buyers. See how we did it. Morgan Roubic Sarah Carlson https://hubs.li/Q043N1Fs0 #BuyerJourney #PersonaStrategy #BuyerPersona

Extendly For HighLevel

Most HighLevel SaaS Agencies are overcomplicating AI. They build complex workflows, pitch technical features, and confuse prospects. The agencies that are scaling fast are doing the opposite. They sell one simple, easy-to-understand offer: a 24/7 AI receptionist that answers calls, books appointments, transfers calls, and follows up automatically. Every business understands that. Every business values that. When packaged correctly, this becomes a high-margin recurring revenue offer inside your SaaS model. Extendly helps HighLevel SaaS Agencies deploy, onboard, and support these AI systems under their own brand. With 24/7 white-label live chat, ticketing, and Zoom support, agencies can scale without hiring internal teams. If you want to simplify your AI offer and increase recurring revenue without increasing stress, this is the smarter model. 👉 White-label support for HighLevel SaaS Agencies: https://lnkd.in/ek7_z3c8 AI receptionist for agencies, HighLevel SaaS Agency, white label AI support, recurring revenue agency model, Extendly white label support, AI appointment booking system, GoHighLevel AI agency #BuildMySaaS #Extendly #HighLevel #GoHighLevel #WhiteLabelSupport #SaaSPreneur #RecurringRevenue #AIForAgencies
