Four years ago,
Hind and I started
Waldencast with a simple conviction: that purpose-driven brands, given the right platform at the right moment, can become something extraordinary.
Today, that conviction reached a milestone I'm enormously proud of.
We've agreed to sell
Obagi Medical to
Bridgepoint Group — and Hind and I will be transitioning to lead Obagi into its next chapter alongside them. I won't pretend this is a small moment. Building Obagi into the world's first aesthetics "megabrand," launching Saypha MagIQ, taking it global — that was the work of an exceptional team, and every bit of today belongs to them.
But here's what I keep coming back to: this isn't an ending dressed up as a beginning. It's a real beginning. Bridgepoint brings a platform, a depth of expertise, and a portfolio — including
Laboratoires Vivacy — that gives
Obagi room to become even more than it is today. Choosing to lead it forward, rather than hand it off, is the truest way I know to say I believe in what's next.
And for
Waldencast and
Milk Makeup, this is a step into focus and strength — a stronger balance sheet, more room to invest, and a brand with extraordinary momentum under Rassi and the team.
What I've learned over these four years is that the work was never really about the transactions. It was about the people who made them possible, and the brands worth fighting for. I'm walking into this next chapter more energized than I've been in a long time.
We're at a moment where beauty, aesthetics, wellness, and longevity are converging into a single story about how people want to live. That's the opportunity ahead — and I couldn't be more excited to keep building into it.
To the teams who got us here: thank you. The best is still in front of us.
