Val A. shared thisOpenClaw (the repo) is the most-starred open source project on GitHub and I'm fortunate enough to say I played a part in that historical moment as a Maintainer for the OpenClaw Organization. Within a span of just 3-4 months, we’ve managed to surpass projects like Vercel, Linux, and React (which is still quite mind-blowing to me). We’ve given the world a glimpse of what it’s like to free their agents and give them souls, and now there’s no going back... Having the opportunity to help shape the future is humbling (to say the least), but I’ve been preparing for this moment for 6-7 years now. Needless to say, this is far from an overnight success story and I look forward to showing the world what I love most: creating experiences and environments that foster your success (and I mean that with every ounce of corn). PS — I’ve already made a significant update to the codebase that I’d love to get your feedback on, but I’ll leave that for another post... 🦞

Val A. shared this🚨 Responding to the s1ngularity Attack: Tips and Solutions On August 26–27, 2025, the widely used Nx build platform was compromised in an unprecedented AI-assisted supply-chain attack. Malicious versions of Nx, along with related plugins, were published, enabling attackers to harvest credentials. These credentials included: GitHub tokens, npm tokens, SSH keys, API keys, and even crypto wallet data. Attackers then exfiltrated them via repos created under users’ GitHub accounts. This is why I wrote up a comprehensive guide to help you act swiftly and protected your credentials. The guide includes: • Immediate Detection Tactics: Learn how to identify whether your setup used the compromised Nx versions, including specific version ranges and GitHub repository indicators. • Step-by-Step Remediation: Guidance on cleaning up affected environments, clearing npm caches, updating the VS Code Nx Console, and reinstalling safe versions. • Credential Revocation and Rotation Playbook: Detailed procedures for rotating GitHub, npm, cloud, and API keys with confidence. • Repository Cleanup Strategy: Tips to secure or remove exposed s1ngularity-repository-* instances, audit changes, and reclaim control of your GitHub footprint. • Verification and Monitoring Roadmap: Tools like GitGuardian, Semgrep, and decoding of exfiltrated files to confirm what was targeted and improve visibility going forward. • Long-Term Resilience Practices: Best practices for pinning dependencies, enforcing least privilege, locking down CI/CD, and bolstering your secret management posture. --- This attack marks a turning point — leveraging AI developer assistants like Claude and Gemini for reconnaissance and credential collection, a new level of sophistication that elevates the urgency for incident readiness. This isn’t just another supply-chain alert... This the first known case of AI tool-assisted credential theft via npm malware, and it affects millions of developers globally — myself included. Val A. posted thisAfter an incredible journey with Chainlink Labs, I’m opening up a new chapter... During my time here, I had the privilege of contributing to one of the most foundational layers of decentralized infrastructure – working across integrations, protocol design, and developer ecosystems that are actively shaping the future of decentralization and blockchain technology. I’m deeply proud of what we built, and even more grateful for the people I built it with. Dear collaborators, colleagues, and community builders with whom I have had the privilege to work: thank you for your trust and inspiration, which motivated me to enhance my skills and expand my knowledge along the way. Next up? I’m joining a team focused on scaling a next-generation protocol at the intersection of modular architecture, DeFi innovation, and developer experience — where I’ll be continuing to build and lead from the trenches as we push toward broader adoption and composability. (More on that in a future post). Onward 🦋

Val A. reacted on thisVal A. reacted on thisI don’t think people understand how desperate farmers are for automation. At a recent field day, I spoke with young growers about the future of agriculture. What stood out most was their concern about the dwindling number of farmers and the rapidly shrinking labor pool. Every year the average farmer age continues to rise, and fewer young people are taking the reins. These growers are already adopting whatever technology they can just to keep up. That’s exactly why I’m building Rowve: compact autonomous robots designed to automate manual field labor before we run out of people to grow our food. What farm task would you most like to see automated?

I also want to share what we’re learning about the risks and the work we’re doing to address them. We’ve published a technical report and blog post on the Hugging Face incident, explaining what the agents did, why existing safeguards failed, and the steps we’re taking to prevent this from happening again. Val A. reacted on thisIt was an honor to represent AT&T and work with such an amazing team!Val A. reacted on thisLast Friday at 9:30 p.m., in a near-empty courthouse in Dallas, a jury delivered the first verdict in the history of the Texas Business Court's 1st Division. It was for our client. A 12-person jury ruled that AT&T did not breach its agreement with two former service providers who had sued the telecom company for $50 million in unpaid commissions. The jury also found the service providers breached their duty to indemnify AT&T and awarded AT&T $8 million on its counterclaim. The jury deliberated for approximately 90 minutes. Congratulations to Tyler Bexley, Pete Marketos, Brett Rosenthal, Whitney Wendel, and Will Hamilton, and our appellate co-counsel Leah Bower. And to the broader RM team (Andrew Wirmani, Allison Cook, Kendal Simpson, and Margaret Terwey) whose briefing and other pretrial work helped make this result possible. 🔗 More info on the case in comments #TexasBusinessCourts #TrialLawyers #LitigationBoutique #CommercialLitigation

There’s been a lot of chatter about LayerZero's new “Zero” chain and what it means for tokenization. Some people immediately jumped to competition narratives. I see it differently. When institutions like ICE and DTCC explore new blockchain infrastructure for trading and settlement, that is not fragmentation. That is validation. It signals that tokenized capital markets are being taken seriously at the highest levels. Zero is positioning itself as high-performance market rails. Throughput, execution, settlement, infrastructure scale. tZERO Group, Inc. operates in a different layer of the stack. Regulated issuance. Broker-dealer infrastructure. ATS. Compliance-first secondary trading. Custody aligned with securities frameworks. Tokenized markets require multiple layers working together. Public chain infrastructure does not replace regulated market operators. It creates more places for compliant platforms to connect. If 24/7 on-chain markets become the standard, the value of regulated gateways increases. Assets still need to be issued lawfully. Trades still need to occur within defined frameworks. Investors still need protections. This development strengthens the long-term case for platforms that bridge traditional capital markets and blockchain rails. The headline here is not disruption. It is convergence. And convergence favors the connective tissue.

I've talked to many blockchain engineers that their Subgraph syncing time is incredibly SLOW. 8 hours later and Subgraph not even halfway indexed… Many blame the Graph protocol being inept. Here is exactly why your Subgraph is indexing slow and how you can fix it. The short answer is that fresh sync will take longer if data does not exist in cache. Sorry, if you are self-hosting or on a provider that does not have pre-cached data. To leverage the economy of scale the Graph node database basically divides your Subgraphs data into two part: • Block & Cache data shared with other Subgraphs. • Event calls only related to your Subgraphs. To fully index a Subgraph, both of these need to be fully indexed. Here’s the thing… Filling cache data is the bottleneck and slow part. The reason block cache data exists is to make sure other unrelated Subgraphs sync fast as well. Essentially, Graph node makes optimization to ensure general fast sync speed across all Subgraphs, but at a bit sacrifice to your own Subgraph. How do you fix this exactly? No one wants to sit around for 16 hours and wait for indexing to catch up and only later found errors in their Subgraph and redeploy again. Let me break it down into the following three tips and the last one might be the most important one. 1. a faster RPC -> faster to get data from node 2. lean subgraph -> fewer events to process 3. pre-filled block, cache data in your Graph node database The third one is arguably the most important, but if you are self-hosting your Graph node you won't have the luxury to contain these pre-cached, pre-filled block data. Then you are bound to have a subgraph syncing for hours later. We deal with this every day with our customers and we learned the hard way that you need a proper platform for cached access to your subgraph. And this is not worth building in-house. If you are a blockchain engineer and want to keep your Subgraph sync fast, then grab a complimentary copy of our 5-Point Guide to Build Really FAST Subgraphs (so you don’t have to wait around for 16 hours)👇 https://lnkd.in/gTQT23wZ -

Anthropic has signed a reported $9.1 billion, 20-year lease with Riot Platforms, Inc. Platforms for 191 MW of critical IT capacity at Riot’s Rockdale, Texas campus, according to Bloomberg . Riot Platforms (Nasdaq : RIOT), a vertically integrated Bitcoin mining and #digital #infrastructure company headquartered in Castle Rock, Colorado, develops, owns, and operates large-scale #datacenters and mining facilities with direct access to low-cost #power. The deal covers build-to-suit Tier 3 data center space. Riot provides the facility, power interconnections, cooling, and operations; Anthropic supplies its own #servers and #AI accelerators. Capacity arrives in phases: 96 MW targeted for December 2027 and the remaining 95 MW by June 2028. The Rockdale site already holds approved, energized multi-hundred-megawatt grid access via an on-site substation, originally built for Bitcoin mining. Converting mining halls to high-density AI infrastructure requires upgraded power distribution, liquid or advanced air cooling for dense #GPU racks, higher redundancy, and tighter environmental controls—engineering work Riot is executing with in-house development expertise and accelerated design processes that incorporate tenant input early. This capacity is strategically vital. Frontier AI #training and #inference demand continuous, large-scale power that traditional cloud providers struggle to deliver quickly. By locking in ready-to-energize Texas power, Anthropic diversifies beyond its existing commitments and reduces the #risk of compute bottlenecks that could slow Claude model advances. For Riot, the lease validates its pivot from volatile #Bitcoin mining to stable, high-margin AI colocation. Combined with its earlier 50 MW AMD lease, Riot now holds 241 MW of contracted AI capacity worth roughly $9.8 billion, giving it a clear competitive edge among former miners through proven delivery, custom #engineering for AI workloads, and a multi-gigawatt Texas power portfolio that can scale further. The 20-year term (through June 2048) is expected to generate $9.1 billion in revenue, or about $455 million annually, with two five-year extension options that could raise total value to approximately $16.1 billion. Riot secured a $573 million interim facility from Morgan Stanley to fund early construction. J.P. Morgan subsequently raised its price target on Riot to $22 from $20 while maintaining an Overweight rating, citing the Anthropic lease’s “attractive #economics” and building momentum. #investments #business #technology #digital #ai #data #power #energy #strategy

This is significant: Florida Senate Passes Unprecedented, Comprehensive Stablecoin Regulation While Washington stalls, Florida acts. Federal stablecoin legislation has been stuck in neutral for years, caught between competing bills, partisan gridlock, and an industry that can't stop fighting itself over turf, standards, and who gets to define "decentralization." The result? Regulatory silence at the national level, and billions of dollars in stablecoin activity operating in a legal gray zone. Florida just decided not to wait. The Florida legislature has unanimously passed SB 314 — the first comprehensive, standalone state framework in the U.S. built specifically for payment stablecoins. It now sits on Governor DeSantis's desk, with a signature expected within 30 days. This isn't a broad "digital asset" bill. It's targeted, practical, and clearly drafted with one goal: give issuers and users actual legal clarity. Here's what it does: - Creates a formal "payment stablecoin" category under Florida's money-services laws - Brings issuers — including out-of-state firms — under state licensing and AML oversight - Explicitly clarifies that compliant stablecoins are not securities under Florida law - Aligns with the federal GENIUS Act via a dual-track approach, so businesses don't have to choose between state and federal compliance - Authorizes state agencies to accept stablecoins for taxes, fees, and licenses, with a pilot program to test operational use That last piece shouldn't be overlooked. Florida isn't just regulating stablecoins; it's signaling it's willing to use them. The broader lesson here is one Washington should pay attention to: regulatory vacuums don't stay empty. When federal bodies are paralyzed by infighting and slow-moving legislation, states fill the gap. Florida did it with insurance. Texas did it with energy. Now, Florida is doing it with digital payment infrastructure. For issuers looking for an "onshore" home with clear licensing rules and non-securities status, Florida just put itself on the map. For fintechs and merchants operating there, a real legal framework for stablecoin payments is now weeks away from becoming enforceable law. The question for the rest of the country, and for Congress, is whether this becomes a model or a competitive wedge. https://lnkd.in/etXUp2ck

Breaking News: TLDR reports Florida creates state-level crypto roadmap with Senate Bill 314., pending Governor DeSantis's signature. Florida's Senate Bill 314 has successfully passed a State Senate vote, requiring stablecoin issuers to obtain licenses from the state's Office of Financial Regulation while aligning with the federal GENIUS Act's consumer protection standards. What FL Senate Bill 314 Requires: ✅ Licensing: Stablecoin issuers must obtain a license from Florida’s Office of Financial Regulation. ✅ Compliance: Mandates that state standards align with the proposed federal GENIUS Act for consumer protection. ✅ Supervision: Provides the state with the oversight necessary to create a compliant and secure environment for stablecoin use. This state-level action creates essential guardrails, laying a potential foundation for nationwide adoption. Watch this closely – Florida's approach is a template for the future of finance. #CryptoRegulation #FloridaCrypto #Stablecoins #DigitalAssets #BlockchainPolicy #GeniusAct #SenateBill314 #AIMCASTEDGE Aimcast Edge Corp.

If you haven’t heard Florida is on pace to become the first state to pass stablecoin law 📃 The Florida Senate voted 37–0 to pass a bill creating the first state-level regulatory framework for stablecoin issuers. The bill now heads to Governor Ron DeSantis, who has up to 30 days to sign it into law.
