Abhinav Kishore shared thisAs I teased a bit earlier in the year... I've been working on exciting product for the last ~2 years now; Confluence Whiteboards! Along with one of the most highly-talented teams I've had the distinct pleasure of collaborating with, we've had the opportunity to dive deep into the problem space of digital whiteboarding. Needless to say: before digging in, we as a team had our assumptions about the way customers use whiteboards, the engineering challenges we'd face as a team, etc. Building one is how we learnt just how complex and wonderful spatial apps are. From state machines to Entity Component Systems to WebGL rendering at scale and everything in between - rendering 1000s of elements with ~50 realtime collaborators at ≥ 60FPS has been a unique and exciting challenge 😄 Check out the blog we just published for more of the gory detail. This involved speaking to students about the companies which were to be present at the Expo, as well as guiding interested students to the Expo on the day. -
