As a LinkedIn Recruiter user with a Hiring Assistant license, you can request candidate feedback from hiring managers directly in Microsoft Teams.
Recruiters can send candidates for review, receive input in Microsoft Teams, and Hiring Assistant will track feedback and update hiring requirements in Recruiter automatically. This helps recruiters and hiring managers stay aligned, improve candidate quality, and reduce time-to-hire. Hiring managers can provide feedback on candidates in Microsoft Teams without a Hiring Assistant license.
Supported Microsoft 365 plans
This integration is fully compatible with all Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise plans (e.g., Business Standard/Premium, E3, E5) hosted on a managed corporate tenant. Please note that it’s not compatible with personal, family, or free Teams accounts. Additionally, your company’s Microsoft 365 Administrator must allow the LinkedIn Hiring Assistant app and its standard delegated permissions within your Teams Admin Center for the integration to function.
Hiring Assistant for Microsoft Teams features
Hiring Assistant for Microsoft Teams can help you streamline collaboration through:
- License flexibility: Hiring managers don’t need a Hiring Assistant license to provide feedback on candidates in Microsoft Teams. Hiring managers only need to sign in to their LinkedIn profile in order to provide feedback on candidates.
- Candidate review: Recruiters can send candidates to hiring managers via Microsoft Teams. Hiring managers receive a notification and provide feedback on candidate fit directly in Microsoft Teams.
- Feedback tracking: Hiring Assistant logs feedback activity and offers suggestions to improve hiring requirements for future sourcing rounds.
- Shortlist review: Recruiters send a shortlist of candidates to the hiring manager for review. Hiring managers receive a message in Microsoft Teams to access the list and submit feedback.
- Activity alerts: Hiring Assistant notifies recruiters in the project’s Activity log in Recruiter when the hiring manager submits feedback and adjusts sourcing criteria accordingly. Currently, Hiring Assistant adjusts sourcing criteria only when feedback is provided in Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, or Spanish.
