A special highlight from this year’s New Horizons event: Wingbrace’s Program Manager and AFCEA Lexington-Concord Vice President for Membership, Alan Weary, architected the Government Contracting Panel. Alan brought together leaders from GSA, Hanscom Contracting, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office, and Kessel Run for a candid, mission‑focused discussion. The panel was designed to cut through the noise—clarifying what’s truly changing in federal acquisition, what remains constant, how programs and contracting can partner more effectively, and what industry must do differently to deliver capability at the pace the mission demands. #Defense #NewHorizons2026 #AFCEALexCon

As the 50th New Horizons Conference comes to a close, our team had the chance to attend and learn from peers and companies across the defense ecosystem. This year’s theme, “Code to Combat Power: Accelerating Software for Integrated Defense and Strategic Advantage,” set the tone for three days focused on speed, relevance, and real operational impact. New Horizons 2026 brought together voices from government, industry, academia, and nonprofits around a shared mission: fielding combat‑credible capability at the pace of need. The conversations underscored how software, digital engineering, and integrated C2 architectures are reshaping how we deliver effects across air, land, cyber, and information domains. The future fight will be won by those who can code, integrate, and deploy faster than our adversaries. Wingbrace is proud to stand alongside mission partners across the defense ecosystem, working to deliver combat‑credible capability at the pace of the threat demands.
