Last week, we kicked off our new partnership with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield at our Back to School Fair 🏈📚 We hosted over 1,000 students and their families at Northwest Stadium to prepare them for the upcoming school year and connect them with resources, health screenings and more! https://lnkd.in/e6VDVSka

Our employee resource group, the Women's Initiative Network, partnered with the Commanders Youth Academy to host its first event featuring a pilates class in the Command Force dance studio, a lunch & learn in the interview room, and a behind-the-scenes stadium tour. Eight girls flag football athletes spent the afternoon connecting with women across the organization through wellness, mentorship and career exploration.

We're teaming up with Clark | Mortenson | SmootDC (CMS), DSLBD, DOES, and mayor Muriel Bowser’s office to host First & Goal: a Construction Kick-off & Resource Expo for our new stadium. - When: Wed., Sept. 9, from 7:30am – Noon - Where: Capital Turnaround (700 M St SE, Washington, DC) - Register: https://cmsjv.rsvpify.com/  (Participation is free, but registration is required.) This event gives regional trade contractors, suppliers, and vendors, especially local, small, and CBE businesses, a closer look at the stadium's scopes of work, procurement timeline, and contractor prequalification process. Attendees can connect with project leaders, attend targeted workshops on PLA and CBE certification, and network with key business and agency partners.
