    The kid in me who spent hours at the optician choosing the perfect frames is fully losing it 🤓 I got to design a mural for the new Warby Parker in Boynton Beach, Florida. I was dreaming of working with Warby Parker for ages! They’ve collaborated with many of my favourite illustrators so was ecstatic when this brief came in.   • Today is World Optometry Day, and we’re celebrating the optometrists who have helped Warby Parker grow into the company it is today. When we launched in 2010, we were an online-only eyewear brand focused on making shopping for glasses easy, affordable, and fun. Today, that focus has grown as we’ve evolved into a one-stop shop for all of our customers’ eye care needs. As we've expanded to over 300+ stores, the 500+ optometrists on #TeamWarby have been a driving force behind this evolution, building meaningful connections with patients and providing them with high-quality eye care every day. Outside of our own exam suites, we are also incredibly grateful to our nonprofit partners and their optometrists who work to bring free vision screenings and eye exams to schoolchildren across the country through our Pupils Project program. Since the program launched in 2015, they’ve performed more than 450,000 eye exams.   • At Warby Parker, we’re lifelong learners. One of the ways we fuel that curiosity is through our Speaker Series—where we invite industry leaders, retail visionaries, and friends and partners of the brand to share their impactful stories and career insights with #TeamWarby. For our first Speaker Series event of the year, we hosted a special session with a new face on our own leadership team: Chief Financial Officer, Adrian Mitchell. Adrian sat down with co-founder and co-CEO Dave Gilboa to discuss the core principles he’s gathered from over 25 years in the industry—from his early days in consulting to leading large-scale brands. A few key takeaways from the conversation: •Simplify the complex: The most effective solutions usually come from making things easier for the customer. And, complexity is often the most expensive part of any business. •Stay focused on the customer: A business stays successful by remaining relentlessly focused on what the customer wants. As a brand scales, the biggest risk is forgetting the individual person behind the purchase. •There’s no hierarchy in ideas: Great ideas can come from anywhere. Today, we have over 300 retail stores across the U.S. and Canada, 4,000 team members, and have distributed over 20 million pairs of glasses through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program.
