We just released a new report on Q1 credit card debt, based on today’s Fed data. Here are some key stats (all figures are adjusted for inflation): ● At $60 billion, the decrease in credit card debt during Q1 2026 was around 6% larger than the decrease in Q1 2025. ● Total credit card debt as of Q1 was roughly $1.35 trillion on an inflation-adjusted basis, which is around 14% below the record high. ● The average household credit card balance was around $11,153 at the end of Q1 2026 after adjusting for inflation. That’s $2,263 below the record high. ● Preliminary data for April 2026 shows a 0.03% decrease in credit card debt vs. April 2025. ● WalletHub projects that total credit card debt will rise by $60 billion during 2026. https://lnkd.in/d4wQ3hv6 #WalletHub #CreditCards #Debt #InterestRates

Joining the right hotel loyalty program is one of the easiest ways to save on travel this summer – and it’s free. We just released a new study on 2026's Best Hotel Rewards Programs, and here are a few key stats to keep in mind: ● Choice Privileges is the best hotel loyalty program overall, earning a WalletHub Rating of 62 out of 100. ● The five best hotel rewards programs save their members an average of 10%. In some cases, members can save as much as 14% at select hotels. ● Six of the top nine hotel rewards programs allow members to redeem points for award nights at all of their brands/properties. Marriott Bonvoy, Choice Privileges and IHG One Rewards are the exceptions. ● Best Western is the only major hotel chain whose rewards points do not expire due to account inactivity. https://lnkd.in/dyp9AJc #travel #WalletHub #money
