Last week, we joined our partners at Intermountain Health, Intermountain Primary Children's Hospital, and the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center to celebrate 40 years of the UTAH Cardiac Consortium. For four decades, this unique collaboration has united Utah's heart transplant programs around a shared mission: delivering exceptional care to patients with advanced heart failure and those in need of a heart transplant. Together, we've helped provide more than 2,000 life-saving heart transplants and countless second chances. What an exciting milestone for XPRIZE Healthspan! The University of Utah recently welcomed the XPRIZE community for the Healthspan Finalist Awards Ceremony, celebrating the teams advancing to the Finals of this ambitious $101 million global competition focused on revolutionizing healthy aging. At the Utah Data Coordinating Center, we are incredibly proud to play a key role in what comes next. As the centralized Data Coordinating Center for the XPRIZE Healthspan Finals, our team will support the collection, management, quality oversight, coordination, and reporting of the clinical trial data used to evaluate finalist teams. The awards ceremony was also an opportunity to celebrate innovation, strengthen partnerships, and connect with the remarkable scientists, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and teams working toward a shared goal: helping people live healthier, longer lives.
