This week GO CAPS associates, and I job shadowed at Christian action ministries. We shadowed Miss Dean both days. The first day we were at the Christian action ministries pantry by Point learned everything that she did on a daily basis and also rope press releases for their new location in Stone County. The second day we were at the OTC table, rock campus and sat in on a Unite Us presentation, unite us, is expanding into the Ozarks and allowing people in need of healthcare and other needs to be fulfilled by a list of local businesses that could be of assistance to them. Such a great cause for such a great place. Super excited to see what Unite Us has in store for the Ozarks.

In 2026, the focus has shifted from tracking ouputs to 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬. From #ruralhealth expansion to #Medicaid innovation, the goal is clear: driving measurable health outcomes and sustainable cost reductions. Our partnership with CVS Specialty and Team PHenomenal Hope proves that streamlining the referral process leads to: ✅ Reduced emergency department visits ✅ Significant healthcare cost savings ✅ A clear path to patient self-sufficiency Proving impact is no longer optional, it’s essential.

At this year's Community Health Workers Association of Missouri (#CHWAM) Conference, our team had the privilege of presenting on the real-world impact of #technology in connecting people to the services they need and the data that proves it. #CommunityHealth Workers are on the front lines every day, bridging gaps that our systems too often leave open. The evidence is clear: when CHWs are equipped with the right tools, people get connected to care, resources, and support that can change the trajectory of their lives. It was also wonderful to have our #Missouri partners there (including Freeman Health System, Bothwell Regional Health Center, and Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare) as a great reminder of the impactful work taking place across the state. We’re proud to support this vital workforce and remain committed to ensuring the technology we build truly reflects the communities CHWs serve. 📸 Elizabeth Green (Bothwell Regional Health Center), Kelsey Hague (Unite Us), Kendra Bloess (Bothwell Regional Health Center), Christine Dunsworth (Freeman Health System) , Dr. Halima Ahmadi-Montecalvo, PhD, MPH (Unite Us, Jordan Murray (Unite Us) 🤝 Kyleigh Hardin (Katy Trail Community Health), Stacy Neale and Arianna LaMadrid (Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare)

What does it take to truly transform #ruralhealth? A shared language. Earlier this month at #HIMSS26, Unite Us’ Emily Anders, MPH and Katie Keating took the stage to discuss how data standardization is making that possible. With a shared foundation and standards-based referral infrastructure in place, states can move beyond tracking activities to proving real outcomes. This is particularly critical for rural communities where coordination is often more fragmented. Shoutout to industry leaders like the Gravity Project for advancing the shared data standards making this work possible 👏 Catch the full recap: https://bit.ly/3NA2uXV

I had the honor of attending and presenting at the Intermountain Ventures and Goldman Sachs Innovation Conference last week in Park City, Utah. I sat on the Payor Panel to discuss the challenges payors face alongside Robert Hitchcock, CEO of Select Health, and Taylor Justice, CEO of Unite Us. Representing WellBe Senior Medical, I was able to provide the "pay-vider" perspective. The panel agreed on a clear consensus: to improve outcomes and lower costs, we must place a greater emphasis on primary care and value-based models like we do at WellBe. We also agreed that managing the social determinants of health must be a core component of these models. I'm proud to lead a team at WellBe that already views social work and helping patients with their socioeconomic needs as a critical pillar of our care.
