Attuned fixes healthcare’s front door with supervised voice AI that answers every patient call instantly and safely resolves up to 70% of interactions. Led by Domenic Donato, who spent over a decade building AI products and leading AI teams at DeepMind and AssemblyAI, Attuned has built a transparent, multi-agent platform that sets the bar for safety, trust, and scale. Their platform is already live across multiple health systems, handling thousands of calls per day — from emergencies to scheduling — across multiple languages. I'm thrilled to announce we've co-led a $10.5M seed investment in Topos Bio, along with our friends at boldstart ventures (Ellen Chisa, Eliot Durbin, Ed Sim), with participation from Neo (Ali Partovi) and angels like Naveen Rao and Dara Khosrowshahi. I'm fortunate to know Amir Khosrowshahi for over 10 years, when we led the Series A investment for Nervana, and grateful to back him again along with Ryan Zarcone, a drug discovery guru from Fountain Therapeutics and Berkeley’s Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience. Ryan and Amir are building an AI-native integrated discovery platform specifically designed for intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs), which are notoriously difficult to drug and responsible for devastating diseases in neurodegeneration, metabolism and oncology. Today Topos announces the launch of Topos-1, the state-of-the-art foundation model for disordered protein conformational ensembles. Leveraging computational physics and generative AI, Topos-1 outperformed every leading protein foundation model, including AlphaFold, across a broad benchmarking suite.
