    We are excited to announce that The Toro Company board of directors has elected president and chief operating officer Edric Funk to succeed Rick Olson as our next chief executive officer. After a remarkable 40-year career with TTC, including the past 10 years as CEO, Rick will transition to executive chairman, effective November 1. A 30-year company veteran, Edric brings deep industry expertise and a proven track record of leadership, currently overseeing the company’s global businesses and integrated supply chain operations.     Our 2026 Urban Park Innovation Award goes to Zilker Metropolitan Park in Austin, Texas! In partnership with City Parks Alliance, this $50,000 award will help bring a new, sustainable maintenance facility to one of Austin’s most utilized and beloved parks, integrating green infrastructure and paving the way for fully electrified grounds maintenance equipment to reduce emissions and noise.
