It was a true privilege to welcome Malala Yousafzai to The ‘Quin House for a discussion that invited reflection on identity, resilience, and the responsibility we each carry to shape a more equitable future. Her perspective—both grounded and forward-looking—left a lasting impression on all in the room. We are grateful to our community for continuing to create space for dialogue of this depth and significance. We look forward to the continued impact of her work.
I am still reflecting on a truly meaningful conversation at The 'Quin House earlier this week. It was an honor to sit down with Malala Yousafzai - the youngest ever winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, and a voice of courage, clarity, and unwavering purpose. What struck me most was not only her extraordinary story but also her grounded perspective on what it means to lead, to learn, and to continue evolving in real time. From advocating for girls’ education on a global stage to exploring the transformative power of women’s sports through Recess Capital, Malala brings both conviction and curiosity to everything she does. Our discussion touched on identity, resilience, and the responsibility we each carry to shape a more equitable future - values that deeply align with the spirit of The ‘Quin. I’m especially excited for her newest book, Finding My Way, which offers a more personal lens into her journey - beyond the headlines and into the moments that have defined her path. I am so grateful to our ‘Quin House community for creating space for conversations like this, and to Malala for sharing her voice so generously. Malala Fund

As a longtime partner of Embrace Boston, 'Quin staff members were honored to attend this year’s MLK Event, where guests were invited to step out in their favorite sneakers and honor Dr. King’s legacy through style, movement, and music. With the nation preparing to mark 250 years of independence, this year’s event felt especially meaningful - a moment to come together in community, reflect on how far we’ve come, and imagine the freedom we’re still building, here in Boston and beyond.
