In celebration of Women’s History Month, The Estée Lauder Companies joined leaders, founders, and cultural changemakers at the Diane von Furstenberg x The WIE Suite InCharge Summit — a convening dedicated to building influence, legacy, and enduring companies. Hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and The WIE Suite’s Dee Poku Spalding, the gathering brought together influential voices including Gloria Steinem, Misty Copeland, Ida Liu, and Rupi Kaur — each shaping conversations around leadership, culture, and community. Among the voices, Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Vice President, Chief Brand Officer, joined Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Samira Nasr to discuss what it takes to build and evolve iconic brands across generations. “There was a moment when I decided being a great leader was just as important as delivering the numbers,” Jane shared — highlighting the power of empathy, authenticity, and people-first leadership. As a throughline of the day: influence today is not just about scale — it’s about how we show up for one another and the legacy we build together.

Throughout February, NOBLE, The Estée Lauder Companies’ Black Employee Resource Group, marked Black History Month and its theme From Legacy to Future: The Evolution of Black Beauty, Culture & Creativity. The theme highlighted the influence of Black consumers, creators, and innovators in shaping the beauty industry and its future. Colleagues came together throughout the month through community impact initiatives and conversations on the influence of Black consumers in shaping beauty and driving growth, including a capstone leadership conversation featuring Arturo Nunez, Board Director, The Estée Lauder Companies. Across the company, brands also marked the month through their own programming. MAC Cosmetics hosted Black at Fashion Week: The Makeup Artists Behind the Runway at its SoHo headquarters, bringing artists, press, and employees together for a conversation on Black artistry backstage, and Clinique North America gathered beauty creators and dermatologist Dr. Nkem Ugonabo for an intimate lunch celebrating its commitment to Great Skin for All and the importance of representation in beauty and dermatology. Together, these moments reflect the creativity, impact, and cultural influence of the Black community—both across the beauty industry and within The Estée Lauder Companies.

A candlelit evening celebrating Contre-Jour by master perfumer Annick Ménardo with Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle. Hosted at Tigre NYC, the gathering marked the North American debut of the fragrance, inspired by the Mediterranean Everlasting Flower — a bloom admired for both its radiant color and remarkable longevity. The composition unfolds as a bold interplay of contrasts: almond-spiced everlasting flower, a striking rose absolute, and creamy sandalwood that leave a distinctive, lingering trail. Discover the fragrance at fredericmalle.com.

Last week, The Estée Lauder Companies joined The Economist Sustainability Week to discuss how value chains are being redesigned to remain stable, compliant, and competitive in an increasingly complex operating environment. Jamal Chamariq, SVP Global Value Chain, spoke at the Supply Chains Summit about how the company is translating sustainability and long‑term resilience into practical operating choices across the end-to-end value chain, including: ▪️Redesigning efficiency: moving beyond scale and unit cost toward operating models that balance performance, flexibility, and long‑term sustainability ▪️Regionalizing sourcing, manufacturing, and fulfillment: bringing production closer to demand to strengthen continuity, service reliability, and visibility ▪️Embedding AI: from advanced planning tools to enhance forecast accuracy to advanced manufacturing technologies to improve quality, reduce waste, and support right‑first‑time execution The discussion underscored a clear takeaway: sustainability, performance, and operational strength are increasingly interconnected. When sustainability is built into the operating system — through network design, energy choices, and data visibility — it supports stability and consistent execution, even amid uncertainty.
