Thatch is the new home for Venteur's health benefits customers. The employers, employees, and brokers currently supported by Venteur will be invited to join Thatch's platform, with hands-on support to ensure a smooth, day-one experience. Transitioning customers will gain access to Thatch's full suite of ICHRA administration tools, including personalized plan recommendations, reimbursement management, payroll integrations, compliance support, the Thatch Marketplace, and Ask Thatch—our AI-powered benefits concierge. This transition comes at a pivotal moment for U.S. health benefits. Per-employee costs are projected to rise 6.7% in 2026—the highest increase in over a decade—and policymakers at both the federal and state levels are increasingly turning to ICHRA to expand access to affordable, personalized coverage. We’re grateful for the trust the Venteur team has placed in us and excited to support every customer through this next chapter. Official press release linked in the comments below.

Today, we're releasing our 2026 Health Benefits Outlook - the ICHRA industry's deepest analysis of the forces reshaping employer health benefits in 2026. This report covers three core areas: 🟣 Healthcare Policy - Individual and group market rate dynamics, the ePTC expiration, new HSA/FSA expansions under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, PBM transparency reforms, and growing state-level ICHRA tax credit momentum across eight states. 🟣 Consumer Utilization Trends - How GLP-1 demand, telehealth permanence, mental health access, and deferred care catch-up are reshaping how employees spend their benefits dollars, supported by Thatch Marketplace data. 🟣 Strategic Considerations - Actionable guidance for brokers positioning ICHRAs proactively, employers calibrating allowances against the new 9.96% affordability threshold, and employees making smarter plan selections in a more expensive marketplace. 2026 will be a transformative year for health benefits. We wanted to create a resource that comprehensively covers the trends that brokers, employers, and employees should know and prepare for. Download your free copy today: https://lnkd.in/erZxEQYW

Huge milestone for Thatch: our first feature in The Wall Street Journal! We’re honored by the spotlight and incredibly grateful to our team, partners, and customers who are building this alongside us every day. Proud to keep pushing forward in our mission to build a healthcare system people love.

🚨Woke up to some huge news: Thatch has been featured in The Wall Street Journal! This has been on my bucket list for a long time. I’ve always been an avid reader of WSJ. And if you care at all about healthcare, you’ve closely followed David Wainer's excellent reporting. His latest piece discusses the "Napster Moment" coming for Big Pharma; a move toward transparency, unbundling, and putting the consumer back in the driver's seat. I couldn’t have said it better myself: "Much more disruption is yet to come to healthcare, both from governments and businesses. As Reitano puts it, GLP-1s reveal what happens when the patient is also the customer. Imagine if the rest of healthcare had to operate under the same rules." This is exactly why we built Thatch. We believe that when the patient is also the customer, the whole system changes. Thank you to our team, our broker partners, and our customers who are betting on a better future for health benefits. Being mentioned alongside disruptors like Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company, PBC is a testament to the hard work everyone is putting in. Let’s keep building. 🚀 LINK IN COMMENTS!

Encouraging signals in the latest Gallagher Re Global #InsurTech report. The funding rebound is notable, but what stands out most is the continued investment in companies reshaping core insurance infrastructure and distribution. At Thatch, we believe the biggest opportunity isn’t incremental innovation - it’s modernizing the foundation: improving the broker/employer/member experience and building technology that makes coverage more flexible and accessible for today’s workforce. As more capital flows into platforms, the bar is rising. The winners in this next chapter of InsurTech will be the companies that combine durable infrastructure, strong carrier partnerships, and seamless distribution. Great work by Andrew Johnston and the Gallagher Re team - well worth the read.

Thank you to Moving to Value Alliance for the partnership and for the opportunity to have our Co-founder and CEO, Chris Ellis, on their podcast. In this episode, Chris joins healthcare leaders John Rodis, MD, Lisa Trumble, and Kim Lynch to discuss why ICHRAs represent a true inflection point for employer-sponsored coverage. Listen now to learn more about how ICHRAs are becoming healthcare’s “401(k) moment” - unlocking choice, portability, and long-term value. 🎧: https://lnkd.in/eKBJvqAB

Are we approaching the "401(k) moment" of health insurance? 🤯 Chris Ellis, co-founder and CEO of Thatch, joins board members John Rodis, MD, Lisa Trumble and Kim Lynch to explain how his team of fintech veterans is leveraging Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs) to decouple benefits from the employer-chosen model, allowing employees to purchase plans that fit their lives. By making coverage personal rather than corporate, Thatch is shifting the industry's focus from short-term ROI to long-term prevention and healthcare portability. When individuals get to choose, local health systems can compete on quality and efficiency, finally creating a substrate for the high-value, cost-effective healthcare outcomes the industry has long promised. 🎧 listen now: https://lnkd.in/eKBJvqAB #MovingToValue #ValueBasedCare #HealthTech #FinTech #HealthcareInnovation #HealthcareTransformation #ICHRA
