At Anzen Industries, we’ve raised $2.2M to redefine how critical molecules are manufactured. The global chemicals industry is worth $5 trillion and encompasses everything from cosmetics to pharmaceuticals. Current manufacturing approaches to making unique molecules are still expensive, slow to scale and dependent on fragile supply chains. We’re building something different from first-principles 🚀🚀 We use cell-free enzyme reactors that isolate enzymes to do chemistry outside the cell in small, modular systems. This means we can scale reactions that are otherwise bottlenecked to achieve molecular resilience. We’re now setting up our first facility in California and expanding our team.
