Today, Tennessee says goodbye to one of its brightest lights. We join our state in mourning the passing of Dolly Parton. 🦋 Dolly was more than a legend of music. She was a champion for learning. Through her Imagination Library, she placed books in the hands of millions of children, giving them the gift of reading and a head start on their futures. Her belief was simple and powerful: every child, in every corner of Tennessee, deserves the chance to dream and to learn. She reminded us that education opens doors, changes lives and lifts up entire communities. That spirit will continue to live in the heart of everything we do. Thank you, Dolly, for your love of Tennessee and for inspiring generations to reach higher. Your legacy will guide us for years to come. 🩷

$25 million, 49,000 square feet and an immeasurable impact on all of Fentress County! Today, we celebrated the grand opening of the new Fentress County Higher Education Center in Jamestown. In partnership with Roane State Community College and Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Oneida/Huntsville, this generational investment will transform the lives of individuals and their families through education and training. Thanks to Gov. Bill Lee, Sen. Ken Yager, Rep. Ed Butler, Rep. Kelly Keisling and Fentress County Executive Jimmy Johnson for making this new campus a reality!
