We’ve announced our latest 25 Hometown Grants recipients — including our first in North Dakota — with each town receiving up to $50,000 to help bring local ideas to life as we continue investing in the places people call home. It’s all part of T-Mobile’s commitment to supporting small towns and rural communities through meaningful investments that make a real difference. I’m excited to share an important announcement for our marketing organization at T-Mobile: Allan Samson is now our Chief Marketing Officer! As CMO, Allan will bring the full power of our marketing organization into one connected performance marketing engine, aligning media, pricing, portfolio, product marketing, innovation and digital experience while continuing to reach new members and helping us deliver more — more value and better experiences — for those we already serve. Allan has been with T-Mobile for nearly a decade and he and I have worked closely together for the past six years, including the work he most recently did leading our Broadband business, where he helped scale 5G Home Internet nationally, advance our fiber strategy and led complex joint ventures. Under his leadership, broadband became one of the fastest-growing parts of our portfolio. Allan also served as CMO of T-Mobile for Business, SVP of Acquisition Marketing at Sprint and SVP of Marketing at Charter. I can't think of a better person to lead this part of our business and am so proud of Allan for this major career milestone! Congratulations, Allan!

The U.S. has made strong progress expanding home broadband through the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) Program — but in many rural communities, connectivity still drops the moment people step outside. “Our analysis shows that building roughly 6,000 additional mobile macro sites could extend 5G coverage to about 99% of Americans,” said T-Mobile President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer, John Saw. Closing rural mobile gaps would strengthen local economies, improve public safety and ensure communities stay connected wherever they are. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dAVDusxB

We are closely monitoring a significant severe weather system expected to impact areas of the U.S. including North Texas, eastern Oklahoma, eastern Kansas, and Missouri beginning this afternoon and continuing overnight. Our T-Mobile emergency management and deployment teams are on standby and we've increased real-time infrastructure monitoring and network automation is in place to help maintain service and respond quickly if needed. At Mobile World Congress 2026, our President of Technology and CTO John Saw shared how we’re accelerating the move toward autonomous networks, alongside ecosystem collaboration with our partners Ericsson, Nokia, Qualcomm, NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom. “Our vision is to build what we call an intent-based network, and part of building an intent-based network is turning the network into essentially a giant agentic AI platform where everywhere, all the AI agents and every network element work together, collaboratively and adaptively, to optimize network performance,” Saw said. That means identifying and fixing issues before customers notice, upgrading the network without taking it off air and delivering always-on connectivity.
