Big news for Indiana! The U.S. Department of Education has approved the nation’s second Workforce Pell Grant, expanding fast‑track healthcare training options for Hoosiers. “Not every good-paying job requires a four-year degree, and Hoosiers shouldn’t have to take on years of debt to gain the skills employers are looking for. I’m proud that, through Ivy Tech’s Clinical Medical Assistant program, Indiana has the nation's second Workforce Pell program approved. We will keep working to connect more Hoosiers with the skills they need to build a great career right here in Indiana.” - Governor Mike Braun

"Hoosiers who have had their lives turned upside down by these storms should not have to worry about their insurance being canceled while they're trying to get back on their feet," said Governor Mike Braun. "I urge insurance companies to protect coverage for impacted Hoosiers for the next 60 days and suspend penalties for late payments. This will give families much-needed breathing room to recover."
