Sustainability is changing the way we build, and RISE Modular is part of the conversation. A new HOTEL MANAGEMENT Magazine article features RISE Modular and how our approach to modular construction is helping our hospitality clients develop more sustainably. Sustainable sourcing today goes beyond choosing “green” materials. Developers are looking at the bigger picture: material efficiency, construction waste, supply chain resilience, lifecycle value and speed to market. Our approach to modular construction addresses many of these challenges by building hotel guestrooms in a controlled, off-site environment, helping reduce waste and rework, improve material efficiency and create a more predictable construction process — all while meeting the brand standards of even the most discerning hospitality clients. The value proposition of modular construction has changed. On an average labor-cost basis alone, modules shipped out of MN are cost competitive to site-built construction in nearly half of the country: throughout the Midwest, North East and Western US. It's no longer simply a conversation of time and quality; there are actual costs to be saved. A major milestone is underway in Denver!   This week, RISE joined Blue Room Housing to celebrate the successful delivery of mods for Blue Room House One, a 54-unit affordable housing community in Denver's Santa Fe Art District. The event marked more than the placement of modules; it highlighted what's possible when innovative developers and experienced modular manufacturers come together to tackle housing affordability.   Blue Room Housing is leveraging modular construction to deliver high-quality, attainable housing for residents earning between 30% and 80% of the area's median income.
