What does "effective" government communications mean in 2026? The answer is changing faster than most contract vehicles can keep up with. That question drove the conversation at iHeartMedia's Unified Partnerships DC Industry Day last month, where Danielle Gosthe joined industry leaders to talk about where government marketing goes next. Three shifts came up in nearly every conversation: 1. Acquisition is moving faster than campaign planning cycles, which puts a premium on teams that can stand up work quickly without relearning the mission. 2. Agency priorities are being re-scoped mid-year, so messaging built around a single fixed audience ages badly. 3. Measurable outcomes are no longer a reporting requirement at the end. They are the thing being bought at the start. For us, that reinforces what has always driven our approach. Campaigns grounded in data, built around real audiences, and designed to deliver outcomes that matter aren’t a response to change. They are the standard we hold ourselves to, regardless of what the landscape looks like. Thanks to iHeart for bringing together communicators who take that responsibility seriously. For those of you doing this work: which of those three shifts is reshaping your 2027 planning most? #GovCon #GovernmentCommunications #PublicSectorMarketing

National awareness campaigns only work if people believe the issue applies to them. For DHS Blue Campaign, the core strategic challenge was relevance. Reach alone could not make a meaningful impact if audiences didn't believe the issue applied to them. Working alongside ICF Next (Prime Contractor) and the broader Blue Campaign team, our approach was to meet audiences at the point of misunderstanding. Misconception-breaking messaging, trusted voices, culturally relevant moments, and social content designed for real engagement worked together to make trafficking indicators personally relevant. The outcome reflects what becomes possible when creative and data work together from the start. Read the full case study - link in the comments below.

When individuals speak up, communities are safer. That mission drives everything Red Carrot does to support one of the nation's most recognized public safety campaigns: "If You See Something, Say Something®". The campaign’s mission is to raise public awareness of potential terrorism risks and how to report suspicious activity to law enforcement. "We are incredibly proud to support a campaign that has become part of the national fabric," Danielle Gosthe, Managing Director, Red Carrot. Red Carrot is actively delivering integrated campaign strategy, branding, outreach & community partnerships, creative, digital & paid media, research, and performance measurement. In a crowded market, differentiation requires focus. Last month, Red Carrot Founder and Managing Director Danielle Gosthe joined the Public Relations Society of America Miami Chapter Women's Leadership Summit as a featured panelist, where she advised: “Identify a specific problem you can solve exceptionally well for a specific industry, and own that space.” Clarity around the problem you solve and the audience you serve creates a distinct position in a saturated landscape. That level of focus is what drives meaningful differentiation. 💡 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) PRSA Miami Chapter #PRSA #RedCarrot #ThoughtLeadership

When your company is called Red Carrot, changing red to green is a pretty big deal. 🥕 For tonight’s National Championship game, we updated our logo by swapping the red lettering for green in support of The U. As a Miami-based company, with a founder who proudly attended the University of Miami, this one feels personal. Sometimes brand flexibility is about more than design. It is about roots, pride, and showing up for your home team. Good luck to The U tonight. Let’s go. #NationalChampionship #TheU #RedCarrot #MiamiBased #BrandPride #Design #GameDay #UMiami
