We just wrapped up the Evergreen Leadership Summit with over 250 leaders from across our companies. It wasn’t that long ago that this “summit” was a handful of people in an Airbnb living room, so it’s pretty surreal to see what it has become. Seeing the camaraderie amongst what is now such a big group and the excitement about what we are building together was incredibly fulfilling. Our theme was Best in the World. At Evergreen we’re striving to be the best decentralized serial acquirer in the world. Our leaders are driving their companies to be the best in the world in their industry - a few of them have objectively gotten there and are pushing the bounds even further. Our business model relies on empowering great leaders with a high degree of autonomy. This group has validated the trust we place in them by delivering industry leading organic growth year after year. It really is remarkable.
