PHI cardiac surgeons Dr. Peter Ali and Dr. Adam Cloud recently completed their 50th transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR) procedure, which helps reduce the risk of stroke. Using an innovative system, surgeons can temporarily reverse blood flow while inserting a catheter into the neck arteries, reducing the risk of complications during the procedure. It’s an honor to share that Parkview Health received the 2026 Business Excellence Award from Greater Fort Wayne Inc. (GFW). This recognition was announced last night at GFW’s annual meeting, held at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation and attended by nearly 600 community and business leaders. The first Parkview Behavioral Health Institute Patient Success Breakfast—made possible by the Parkview Health Foundation—brought our community together to honor three inspiring stories of recovery, powerful reminders that with the right support, healing is possible and happens every day. Each story reflected the impact of PBHI’s compassionate, personalized approach to care, with dedicated teams providing both inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use services tailored to each individual. Just as important, we recognized Parkview care team members who walk alongside patients on their journeys, offering encouragement, guidance and unwavering support. It was a meaningful morning celebrating not only the courage it takes to pursue recovery, but also the people who help make that healing possible.

Goshen Health has reached an important milestone in our partnership process with Parkview Health by signing an Affiliation Agreement. This step follows a thorough and thoughtful due diligence process and reflects our commitment to strengthening local healthcare for our community for generations to come.
