We’ve been using our lab to prove out the interface between simulation and experiment. Now, we're excited to bring experimental grounding to all our users in collaboration with onepot. Assess synthetic feasibility, query for related analogs, and order new compounds to be automatically synthesized--all with the same fluency as other Axon integrations. Details in our newest blog post in the comments below ⬇️

  • We’ve built autoresearch for liquid handling and cut robot cycles by more than 30%! This is one of the interesting things about AI in the lab: it’s not just deciding what to make, but also making the lab itself run better. In this case, the agent improved how reactions get assigned and grouped for transfer on our liquid handlers, which translates pretty directly into faster batches and less waste. • onepot CORE is no longer just enumerated. With CORE v1.1, we introduce a synthon-based representation alongside the original enumerated dataset, making the CORE space easier to use in real computational workflows. We also made major improvements to the models behind the CORE, with better feasibility scoring and better prioritization of chemistry that is likely to execute successfully on our platform. We believe the future is not just larger libraries, but tighter links between virtual molecules and real synthesis. Learn more in the comments.

Next week, we will be in San Diego for the eMolecules Discovery Symposium 2026 and in Santa Fe for OpenEye CUP 2026. The future of drug discovery will not be built by better models alone. It will be built by systems that connect computation to chemistry in the real world. That is what we are building at onepot. If you are working on the future of molecular discovery, come find us.

At this year’s Discovery Symposium, Benedikt Wanner (Synple Chem) will host what is shaping up to be one of the most technically compelling discussions of the day: “Virtual Libraries and Automated Synthesis” Joining the panel are experts from a.o. onepot.ai and Synfini, Inc., bringing deep expertise in AI-driven applications, automated synthesis platforms, and scalable chemistry execution. The conversation will go beyond buzzwords and into real scientific questions and solutions. As chemical space grows into the billions and trillions, the bottleneck is no longer ideation, its execution. This panel will explore how digital library design and physical synthesis are converging into a single, integrated workflow for early drug discovery.
